My wife and I had a wonderful 3 night stay to make a little "get away" for my 60th birthday! We had a lovely stay while here. The facilities were great and we really enjoyed the time spent here. The grounds are lovely for walking, including a stream running in front of the property. Our room was very nice with a kitchen, nice island, living room, and two queen beds. We really enjoyed the stay.
I’d like to start by saying how helpful Chad at the front desk was. He made my complex reservation super easy and was more than happy to help. The bathroom in our suite was very clean. The bed Linens were soft and the bed was comfortable. I would stay here again.
We had decided to stay another day to avoid driving back into bad weather that was happening in our home area, but found the condo we rented was booked for right after our stay. We searched and came upon Leconte Hotel and Convention Center. It was far more than we expected. Room was certainly big enough for us. The area is just over a hill from the main strip in Pigeon Forge, so you feel like you are further than you are, in a good way. It is quiet, has a nice stream running by in the front, multiple pools, fitness area, complementary breakfast. The staff was very nice, very helpful. Would definitely stay again.
Excellent place to stay in Pigeon Forge, about a block off the main drag makes it very quiet. Room and property were very clean and staff was friendly. Bed was very comfortable and bedding was clean and fresh
Very nice suite and was below high prices for the leaf watching period. The Hotel was in the process of changing names of which I was not aware. We did find it after realizing that this was the Hotel we had booked. It's very close to everything but seems to be in a less crowded area.
Really good value for family vacation. Very clean, comfortable and really nice staff. Plenty of room and the kids loved the indoor pool. Beautiful grounds. Convenient to attractions and shopping and lots of restaurants.
My husband and I stayed here for a few days. The location is fantastic - off the beaten path but close to everything. The outside of the property is really well-kept and quite pretty. Our room was spacious and clean with everything we needed other than utensils, which seemed odd. HVAC system was very efficient. Staff was not particularly friendly. They seemed put out by simple questions and just were not very warm. Overall would recommend the hotel, but staff needs to be reminded that they chose to go into the hospitality business.
We chose the MainStay late on a Sunday night after I booked a horrible property that we left at 10:30 pm. We arrived at the property and everyone at MainStay went above and beyond to make sure our stay was pleasant & comfortable. Our family of 6 had plenty of space and the room was clean & well laid out. We will most definitely stay here again.
Stayed at this hotel in October 2021. Based on the pictures and reviews from Choice hotels it was a big disappointment. When we first checked it the front clerk stated this was the best hotel in pigeon forge. I disagree. Clerk made it very clear they did not agree with wearing mask and that the vaccine is an experiment. Made me feel very uncomfortable. Room was spacious but very dated. Bathroom still used a shower curtain and for the price I paid it should have been a shower door. Only had one roll of toilet paper so for five nights so I had to request more. Kitchen was nice but had to turn on cold water under the sink because someone turned it off. From the moment I checked into the room gnats were in the room. Well before I brought food into the room. Had to keep all food in plastic bags and the refrigerator. Coffee maker worked good as well as the stove. Did not use the dishwasher. Nice to have dishes and pots to use. Room was very dim lit, could use more lights. Laundry facilities worked well. Room was on the forth floor and the elevators are extremely slow. Took the stairs most of the time and carpet was stained but walls looked painted recently. Main thing for me was the smoking smell. It is evident people are smoking in the hotel even though the on choice hotels website it states it is non smoking. I noticed on some of the rooms the no smoking sign under the room number was missing and it seemed like on the fourth floor every other room was like that. I do not think it was a simple missing sign. I sure hope Choice sees this and takes action as to me it is false information. If I had know these things (especially the smoking ) I would not have stayed here.…
The hotel was clean. We had an issue with our room AC unit and the hotel fixed it for us. Parking was plentiful. They have an indoor pool and hot tub, an outdoor pool and hot tub, and an outdoor lazy river. They also have a cute pool area for the children. We ate breakfast at hotel once and it was so-so. We had a kitchen so we fixed breakfast in our room or we went out to eat. Bathroom and our room were clean. Room had a sofa, coffee table, television, chest of drawers and bed. We had a balcony which was nice. Our view was pool side. We would stay here again. Elevators (there are two) were very slow. This hotel could use a separate elevator for the cleaning staff. This place is really large. Cleaning staff will replace towels, empty trash, and provide new soap and shampoo (they do not make the beds, etc.). The hotel is in the middle of everything but a short drive from the main street. There is a trolley that comes to the hotel.…
