Me and my husband stayed one night as we were traveling from SC back home towards michigan. We were celebrating our 12th wedding anniversary on this trip. Sadly when we arrived the weather in September was a shocking 40 degrees at night so we didn’t get to enjoy this lazy river. One of my main reasons for booking. However, we did enjoy the hot tub and a bit of the indoor pool early morning before heading out on the road towards our next stop towards home. We love this area. Pigeon forge TN is a trip in its own with so much to do. For first time travelers i highly suggest parrot mountain, and the titanic museum as must do. Besides of course traveling through the Smokey mountains. This hotel is very clean, very well kept and the staff are amazing. We would not hesitate to come back and hopefully next time the weather is on our side. The only thing.... we paid for a Mountain View room and did get a pool view room not sure if that was cheaper and we paid more for what we did not get?

I’ve been to Marriotts Courtyards all over the US and internationally... this one is one of the best I’ve ever been to! By far. PROS: It is in the heart of everything in Pigeon Forge. If that’s your thing, the location is great. It’s not why we booked but still convenient to everything. There is a lazy river, an indoor pool, a great gym and a lot of rooms have balconies. I’d personally recommend a river or Mountain View- those are on the back side of the property. The fire pit is AMAZING. When you are sitting around it, you forget that you are in the middle of Mountain Vegas. Seriously- peaceful, serene and wooded. Lovely. CONS: Not many. The traffic outside the hotel, on the main highway, is horrendous. This is not the fault of Marriott. Just something to be aware of. The food at the cafe in the lobby is not great. Some Courtyards have avocado toast or boiled eggs for breakfast. This one doesn’t. The evening snacks are fries and hotdogs or chicken fingers. None of this is a deal breaker but just be aware. If you are a healthy eater, get snacks before you check in. (My son loved the hotdog ;) I don’t know if I would stay again, but that is purely because we usually opt for camping or a cabin when in mountains. IF I was coming for a combo of pigeon forge and outdoorsy attractions, this would be a yes. IF I was staying anywhere else and could stay at this hotel, I would. It is truly great.

The hotel is very nice in a great location. We usually stay at another hotel in Pigeon Forge, but decided to give this one a try and it did not disappoint. The room was perfect and the pool area (lazy river) was pretty. The only problem we had was that we did not have hot water at night because they were having issues with the hot water heater. Hopefully this will be fixed on our next trip.

We make annual trips to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. This is the first time I've ever felt like I found a place I want to come back to. From the beginning, they were extremely accommodating, letting us check in early so our toddler could take a nap. Everything was very clean, the location is perfect, and the amenities put it over the top- fire pits, hot tub, multiple pools, and a coffee/alcohol bar. We can't wait to return!
