Detailed Reviews

Bailey and Leslie were so friendly and really made our stay the best experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted and given great ideas of places to eat around the area for dinner. They took the time to show us around our floor and make sure we had everything we needed. They were even able to accommodate an early breakfast at 6:30 am, so that we could keep to our schedule and leave on time for the next day of our adventure. Thank you so much!

Our family of three was in Paris, TN for a whirlwind weekend attending a wedding. We stayed two nights at Home Sweet Home Bed and Breakfast and wished we could have stayed longer. Bailey was very accommodating in our early arrival, greeted us at the door with an umbrella to help us with the luggage and graciously showed us around the house. Bailey also sat with us in the living room for a bit to get acquainted, give us some guidelines and find out how he could best meet our needs while we were there. We stayed in the "Paris Suite" upstairs which suited our space requirements best. The suite was comfortable, spacious, very clean and supplied with a small refrigerator, microwave, iron and ironing board and other comforts of home. Breakfast was amazing! Bailey and Debbie were the best hosts. The food was delicious, plentiful and there were so many choices. The only disappointment of our stay was that we had to miss breakfast the second morning because of an outrageously early departure time.

A place to relax...
the front screened was heavenly. Bailey and Leslie truly made us feel at home. This beautiful turn of the century home had a comfortable bed and everything we needed. Bailey cooks a delicious full breakfast... I enjoyed watching the many kinds of birds enjoying their bird feeders as I ate. Very close walk to the historic downtown- be sure to check out the murals in the alley. Thank you Bailey and Leslie- we hope to come back soon!

This B&B is a true gem!! If I could give them 10 stars I would. Leslie and Bailey are wonderful host, they made us feel welcome and like family. The breakfast was Delicious and freshly made every morning. I've stayed at hotels in other countries and I must say this place is so much better than any of them. Wonderful, comfortable and welcoming.

This clean, quaint, warm, beautifully decorated Bread and Breakfast, was a Home away from Home. The owners Bailey and Leslie were so hospitable and an absolute delight. The breakfast was delicious and filling. Anytime I'm visiting my family in Paris, this will be my place of stay. I give it an excellent rating on all accounts.

Beautiful house and the screened verandah is just right to sit and read or watch the world go by. However, when we stayed the weather was so hot we retreated to the lounge, which is just as pleasant.
We were the only guests staying in the 2 bedroom establishment so we were given a choice of rooms. We chose the Wisteria, and it was as restful as it looked. Vicki, our charming and attentive hostess, then offered both bathrooms. I took the Wisteria, which was the most elegant bathroom I have ever used, and my partner had the other which was less luxurious but perfectly adequate.
Vicki supplied us with local information, especially about where to eat and good day trips, bedtime eat-treats and we had access to soft drinks and ice all the time. Her breakfasts were excellent, preceeded by tea and coffee left outside your room at an arranged time.
I noticed in the visitors book that a lot of visitors were returning more than once. This must be because Vicki runs a great B & B.

My son and I stopped in Paris during a Civil War road trip. Home Sweet Home could not have been better. Setting, people and ambience was perfect. High heat and humidity made sitting on the old-school screened port perfect. Bailey was friendly and engaging, explaining a bit of Paris' history and current situation. Debbie, who provided breakfast for us, personifies charm and good humor, making for a lively start to the day. Came away from our time with them having a clearer perspective on folks in west Tennessee.

I stayed here with my family for two nights in June 2015. The home, built in 1909, is in great condition, and the owner, Bailey, is a very accommodating host. He prepared a wonderful breakfast of fruit, breads, eggs, grits, and bacon each morning of our stay. Our room was $85 per night, which I felt was very reasonable. There aren't many hotel accommodations to choose from in Paris, so I would seriously recommend that travelers consider the Home Sweet Home B&B if you're looking for a nice place to stay.

I stayed with Bailey in his charming home on Labor Day weekend while on a roadtrip with my girlfriend. Bailey was incredibly nice and helpful. He texted me on the morning of our arrival to let us know the details of our stay, and when we arrived a bit early he was more than accommodating, giving us a tour and letting us drop off our bags. He constantly kept us up to date, and made sure that we were taken care of every step of the way. If you are going to stay in Paris, TN or the surrounding area do yourself a favor and stay here.

This bed and breakfast is in a little town called Paris, TN about 2 plus hours outside of Memphis, TN. When you first get here you get a "lay of the land" tour of the house for orientation. The hosts are Bailey and Debbie. Bailey is the owner and is a kind man with a big heart. They are only a phone call away if you need them and can suggest things to do if you are at a loss. Breakfast is always good here and the guests are interesting. We stayed in the Rose room and had no problems with noise at all. Paris is a laid back town and easy going. There is a lot of history here if you are a Civil War buff. The B&B itself was built about 1909 and is in fine shape. Bailey has done well taking care of it. The people of the town are very friendly and show something that you rarely see in big cities anymore...respect. Debbie is Bailey's right hand person and is a hoot. She is very personable and will make you feel right at home. The beds are very comfortable, the food is good, the company is excellent. What's not to like? This place is a thumbs up with aces high. Can you tell we're from Vegas? Come and stay and you won't be sorry.
