The campground lies on Normandy TVA Reservoir and the upper Duck River. It is located in southern middle Tennessee between the towns of Normandy and Manchester. Offering large gravel sites, every site is a pull-through with electrical and water hookups. A majority of sites accommodate big rigs and may be camped on with a tent or an RV. A pavilion is available by reservation for a reasonable fee. The neighboring Cedar Point Campground, also managed by Recreation Resource Management, is located across the lake from Barton Springs.

This TVA campground is located less than 70 miles from where we live in Madison County AL. We stayed at spots 10 and 12. The campground was immaculate and the staff very friendly and helpful. The lake level was low, as is normal in the winter months but that afforded a lot of extra space to walk the dogs. We would like to return in the summer and enjoy swimming in the lake and watching the boaters.

We very much enjoyed out two night stay! Park was neat and clean, people were very friendly, and had an amazing view, even though we weren't able to get a direct water side space. Beach was only a couple of minute walk and was well maintained. Can't comment on the showers, but the toilet area of men's restroom nearest the beach was very clean! We very much look forward to staying there again!

We held our family camping trip here and were so impressed with the great staff, beautiful beach area, and boat launch facilities. The grounds were so clean as were the restrooms. Our camp site was located in B section which allowed us to tie off the boat nearby. We will definitely return again for camping. Highly recommend this campground.

I could have not ordered a more perfect weekend at Barton Springs Camp Grounds. My family rented one of the new camper trailers by Hampton. The king bed was so comfortable and the pull outs were as well. Full refrigerator, nice A/C, ceiling fans, great recliners with heat and massage, great 4 burner gas stove and gas oven. Plenty of room to cook and eat inside as it was extremely hot. We found a great swimming area just off our deck. The view was perfect and we had a full moon too boot! We will definitely come again. Thanks Kat and Bill (managers) for making our stay a remarkable experience.

Room Tip: Easy in and out...roads are curvy but that's the way around water.

This was our 3rd visit. This time we stayed on the island area. Very peaceful. Lots of shade. The managers are excellent and helpful. Very clean facilities. Our shepweiler dog loves it here. We will be back.
