The campground lies on Normandy TVA Reservoir and the upper Duck River. It is located in southern middle Tennessee between the towns of Normandy and Manchester. Offering large gravel sites, every site is a pull-through with electrical and water hookups. A majority of sites accommodate big rigs and may be camped on with a tent or an RV. A pavilion is available by reservation for a reasonable fee. The neighboring Cedar Point Campground, also managed by Recreation Resource Management, is located across the lake from Barton Springs.

This campground was clean and each site is very large. We tent camped with three other families/tents on two sites but really could have book just one because the spots were so big. There was a beautiful view of the lake. We camped two night and went to near by hiking trails in the day as well as went to the lake at the campground. They were very accommodating and I would definitely go back..

We have traveled from Michigan to Florida to Texas and back again. Of all the places we have been in the last 3 years, this is by far our favorite place to camp! The views are amazing! We always stay right down on the lake! It's so peaceful and beautiful here! Everyone is so friendly! The management and staff are so helpful and pleasant! Would highly recommend this campground! Wish we could stay here year round!!

This is the best place to be in the summer time. We love the water. There’s an area for swimming, boat launch, campground..it’s inexpensive family fun but I enjoy going solo as well just to float my cares away. There are bbq grills, picnic tables, trees for shade, bathrooms with showers, ice for sale at the entrance. There’s a small fee for entry per carload, season passes for those who really love it.

Being our first visit to this campground we weren't quite sure what to expect. The camp was full and we made our reservation a little late so we had D18 a small site at the end of "D" loop but it proved to be adequate. Our party consisted of 4 adults and 2 grandchildren and a Saturday day visit from 2 additional adults and a third grandchild. The staff was courteous and helpful. The campsite itself was near perfect for everyone there with our small RV and a small tent. Everyone loved the lake, swimming, (except for the fish that nibbled on a couple of us lol). We cooked out at our site and the group enjoyed smores over the campfire. We had a great stay, clean restrooms and showers and the only negative at our site was the picnic table was placed on a slope and not movable.
