UNION STATION, A DOWNTOWN NASHVILLE HOTEL | Welcome back to Union Station! The heart of Nashville just got better with a cornerstone of Nashville history unveiling a transformed, unique and alluring new look. Design Led by Dawson Design Associates, Union Station’s newly imagined spaces pay homage to the property’s rich history by seamlessly weaving the building’s stunning and timeless architecture with contemporary and provocative details. Stylish, modern seating and original commissioned art inspired by the grit and romance of Nashville’s legendary music scene stand in contrast to the preserved soaring barrel-vaulted stained glass ceiling. Large-scale steel sculptures made from re-purposed and recycled materials and three 10-foot-tall, custom chandeliers inject a sense of glamour and drama to the grand lobby’s monumental space. Each of the hotel’s 125 guestrooms and suites offer travelers a bold new experience that embodies today’s Nashville. Refurbished with walnut feature walls, cowhide headboards, custom iron and wire chandeliers, leather accents and contemporary amenities, an evening at Union Station evokes a sense of adventure and approachable luxury. New And Nostalgic Nashville Union Station Hotel is once again, exactly where you want to be in Nashville. The historic, and now contemporary, train station continues to serve up tailored service, culinary delights, rich history, intriguing art, and of course – a true music experience. Our vibe is contagious and our look is unique; there’s nowhere else in Nashville like Union Station. Our affection for the past fuels our energy for the now. Celebrating everything you expect, while showing you something different, Union Station Hotel is your favorite song on the album titled Nashville.

This historic building, once a railroad station is now a luxurious hotel place on the heart of Nashville within walking distance of all the restaurants, bars and right in front of a Museum as well.
Breakfast was fantastic, the grits and shrimp was delicious (a bit spicy though)

My family is currently transitioning between homes in Nashville. As a loyal Marriott member, we decided to try the Union Station Hotel (Autograph Collection).
The Union Staton is a combination of nostalgia and modern. It is everything one would want in a luxury property combi

I see the hotel is a few blocks away from Broadway and the Honky Tonks. Did you feel safe walking around? At night too? Or would you use Uber? We are looking at 3-4 nights but was wondering if it was too long to see it all. Did you do anything "touristy"? Going just after the New Years. Thanks in advance.
We ubered some and walked some. Completely safe in my opinion. We usually only ubered if it was just unbearable hot. At night we always walked back to the hotel. My experience with Nashville is that it’s a safe town and I’ve not ever had concerns about walking around downtown at night. We mainly did the honky tonks and the music tourist things, but did venture to the Andrew Jackson Hermitage one morning.

I read one review that their room over looked train tracks but they did hear the trains. What about anyone else, have issues with train noise?
When i stayed there we were near the train tracks and you could only slightly hear them, I felt like you could hear the people in the hall more than outside noise

Is there an airport shuttle?
Hello! Although we do not have a shuttle service, we are a quick taxi, Uber, or Lyft ride away from the airport. A taxi is a flat rate $25, + $1 for each additional passenger. Uber and Lyft vary but tend to be lower priced than taxis. Additionally, If you contact the Guest Services team at the Front Desk in advance, we can also arrange a private car pickup service for you, based on current rates.

Is there a club level lounge?
Thank you for your inquiry. We do not have a club level nor club level lounge in this hotel. Because of the historic nature of the property a club level Lounge was designed for Union Station Hotel Nashville. Thank you for asking.

So someone mentioned you can't get coffee at the hotel?I really just can't imagine that is true!! What is the situation I need coffee in the morning
Hi Highclere, hope this note finds all things well with you. There is coffee in the dining area, however in checking with the hotel, they mentioned that there is a Keurig coffee maker in each room. Hope this is helpful. BTW: the hotel has an interesting design and great for taking photos. Enjoy your stay in Nashville. Hope this information was helpful...Have a great day. Dr. marc PS 63:7
