We booked an entire room (good for a group of 6) but we were 4. So we had enough space for everything, got a fully equiped kitchen, a living room, 2 bedrooms and 2 bathroom. Quiet place and neighborhood, close from grocery store, liquor store. Short walking to the Broadway bars and restaurants (20 minutes/2km) or less then 10$us by Uber. Would also be a good place for a family !

Stayed at Music City Hostel a few times from 2017 to 2018 and had nothing but great experiences there. I've stayed at their downtown location as well, and while it was more modern and new, I still prefer this smaller hostel out of the downtown core! You'll have everything you need with an intimate, cozy feel; the hostel isn't overbearing like some can be (their downtown location felt like that to me -- which isn't bad but just isn't my style). Anyway, this hostel was clean, the staff has always been helpful, and just the whole feel of the hostel is very cozy and special. This place has felt like home whenever I've been in Nashville!

This is a nice hostel, close to everything you might need: from Broadway area to supermarket and restaurants. The only thing which is very annoying is the kindergarten next door, which will wake you up at eight in the morning and keeps on going up until noon. No place for sleeping in :-)

Thank you for the "Nice Hostel" tag. We aim to be safe, convenient and comfortable place for travelers. The building next door is a child care center (age 3~10 years) for Vanderbilt University employees. The children usually do not get let out for play until past 9 am.

The location is very clean and organized. the staff are friendly and extremely helpful in all situations. It is located a short distance from downtown. An uber to downttown costs you about $5.00 from the hostel. It is off the main roads and highways so it is very quiet and there is little to no traffic noise no matter where your room is located. I stayed in a all female dorm style room. There were two set of bunk beds, one was two twins and one was a queen on the bottom and a twin on top. All the travelers that roomed with me while I was there were very kind and quiet. I would reccomned that you pick a bottom bunk if you are a heavier individual. Most of the people who stay at this hostel are there for the music and the experience rather than drinking or partying--the partiers usually stay at the downtown hostel. So you don't generally have to worry about getting stuck rooming with a partier. There are locked boxes available for you to store valuables, you just have to supply your own lock. There is a kitchen available for use with a fridge, coffe pot, microwave, convection oven, etc for use. There is also laundry available for use with laundry supplies being avaiable for purchase. Towels and bedding are gotten from the office, and were clean and fresh when I got them. No stains, tears, or strange odors. I stayed for three nights and paid $111.00. I will 100% be staying here again!

Very friendly, clean and relaxed. The staff receptionist Mel went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and relaxed, and staying at the hostel was a great way to find out about gigs and events that are more local and less touristy. The amenities were kept clean all the time. Beautiful gardens great for bbq's.
