This is a nice hostel, close to everything you might need: from Broadway area to supermarket and restaurants. The only thing which is very annoying is the kindergarten next door, which will wake you up at eight in the morning and keeps on going up until noon. No place for

The location is very clean and organized. the staff are friendly and extremely helpful in all situations. It is located a short distance from downtown. An uber to downttown costs you about $5.00 from the hostel. It is off the main roads and highways so it is very quiet and there

Very friendly, clean and relaxed. The staff receptionist Mel went out of her way to make us feel comfortable and relaxed, and staying at the hostel was a great way to find out about gigs and events that are more local and less touristy. The amenities were kept clean all the

We (couple) stayed at the hostel over the weekend for two nights and paid more than 250 dollars. Though the hostel as such is a nice place, our bathroom was just gross and super dirty (see fotos)! The sink in the bathtub was totally tapped, there were hair all over the place;

Response from Hostel_Host, General Manager at Music City Hostel

Thank you for the feedback regarding your stay at the Music City Hostel. We are dedicated to providing a comfortable stay for every guest we host. Hostel accommodations are a unique community-based environment. One of our core values is providing an affordable place to stay for travelers. With shared restrooms and living spaces we're able to provide a rate considerably lower than any hotel in Nashville. October falls within Nashville's peak season and a quick search of hotel prices near our location will show how affordable our accommodations are in comparison. Our facilities are cleaned daily. While there is not a staff member on site 24/7, we have a phone number available for guests to call at any time in case of emergency or for complaints such as unclean living spaces and restrooms. We are always happy to assist in such situations when issues are brought to our attention.

Hi! We are very close to the main hub of Midtown and Elliston Place, so all of those restaurants (Hattie B's, Hurry Back, The Row, Clydes, Jacks BBQ) are typically no more than a 10-minute walk away. If you aren't wanting to spend money eating out, we have a fully stocked community kitchen that you can use! It has fridge storage, oven, burners, microwave, sink, etc.

The easiest way to get to us is via Taxi, Uber, or Lyft. It's roughly a $20 trip from the airport. Bus #10 from the main bus station will also drop you off within 1 block of our front door (19th/State Street). Enterpirse, Avis, and Budget have rental offices within half a mile of us.

I am in my 50's and had not stayed in a hostel since my 20' s so I too was nervous. I had a pleasant stay with no issues. I requested a female only room. If you are comfortable sleeping in a room outfitted with double bunk beds and 3 strangers....go with it---it was fine for me---my roommates were respectful, as I was. I read up on the unwritten rules of hostel stays and all was great! It was much much better than I expected.

How do you get here from the greyhound bus station?
Hello Jade, We are located less than 2 miles from the Greyhound station. The fastest and most convenient way is to take a taxi, Uber or Lyft. This will cost about $8. If you arriving during the daytime hours, you could walk or take the city bus. The city bus will cost $3.40 and take about 40 minutes. Thanks Cheers, Sara

Hello Laurie! We routinely change the configurations of our rooms to meet seasonal supply & demand. While we do currently have a room with a full and twin bed (not bunk), we cannot guarantee this configuration as our setup changes frequently based on availability and needs. We do, however, always guarantee that a 3-person private room will have individual bed space for 3 guests. We try our best to accommodate specific requests from guests and encourage guests to inform us of any wants or needs when they make a reservation. If we can make your stay more enjoyable, we will certainly try our best to do so! Thanks.

"We stayed in a four-person room that actually had a bunk that included a double mattress on the bottom - awesome!"
