We had wonderful stay at The Big Bungalow in Nashville. Ellen is a fabulous host and suggested some great things for us to do which really enhanced our visit. With a comfortable bed, quiet room, and delicious breakfasts, I highly recommend this charming B&B.
Yet again we returned to the Big Bungalow, and yet again we had such a lovely stay. The place as a whole is so comfortable, safe, and clean, with the added bonus of a wonderful host, Ellen, who goes over and above to make you feel welcome. This time we stayed in the Music City Room, which was great....an amazingly cosy bed, lovely clean bathroom, and plenty of space. The breakfasts (hot and tasty everyday) were amazing - a great start to the day. It really felt like home. The location is excellent too, a pretty and quiet residential street that is also close to downtown etc. - only a short Uber ride away. It's also a short walk away from the Five Points area which has lovely boutiques and places to eat. We can't wait to return next year and wouldn't even contemplate staying anywhere else. AMAZING.…
Stayed three nights at the Big Bungalow. Ellen was a great host. She offered us plenty of great suggestions on things to do or paces to eat. We had the Cozy Room which is the smallest of the three, but it more than met our needs. The room doesn't have an attached bathroom, but that wasn't an issue. The bathroom was close by and it was just for the Cozy Room. The location was great just a $7 Uber ride to Broadway. We will definitely consider the Big Bungalow nex time we're in Nashville.
this was a really good place to stay, Ellen was very hospitable! she helped us with directions, suggestions on places to go, she made reservations for us. The rooms were sufficent, and breakfasts very good. If ever back we will look her up. thanks Ellen. Also Very close to down town etc, we took Uber all the time and cheap!!
It's hard to imagine that we could have found a better place to stay, for our visit to Nashville. The property is well located in East Nashville, a 20 minute stroll or short taxi ride across the river to downtown. It's a lovely and very characterful place. And Ellen was the most welcoming and helpful of hostesses. Pretty damn good breakfasts too. Recommended without hesitation.
