Loved the mansion tour although it was expensive. Steve was an excellent tour guide and very personable. We also bought two of his CD's - he has an awesome voice! We got the Christmas CD and the CD of beautiful, old hymns. The complimentary CD that came with our room is fabulous also. We stayed in the South Bunkie with...

If you're looking for a very special place to stay on a Nashville visit, the Inn at Fontanel is highly recommended. It is on the grounds of Fontanel (the mansion built by country music star Barbara Mandrell and her husband) and so all of the grounds and attraction associated with that are readily available. Those include the mansion tour itself...

It's not often that I book a hotel stay only 21 miles from my front door, but it was my wife's 70th birthday and we had visited this location when Southern Living showcased it as one of their idea homes. Once it was converted into a 6 room Boutique hotel, my wife couldn't wait to stay here. We had to...

What a gem of a place! The Inn itself is beautiful - we stayed in the North Bunkie and loved it. Very clean and well kept. Small frig to store items, plus complimentary waters. A Kuerig and k-cups were provided in the room for your morning coffee or tea. The shower is a little small, but really not a big...

The Inn at Fontanel is a wonderful hotel if you're looking for a quite getaway in the Nashville area, but don't want to be located in the activity of downtown. It was a easy 20 minute drive to most parts of the city, including downtown, the West End, and the Gultch. The best part of the Inn is the staff,...

Beautiful. Comfortable. Clean. Welcoming. Delicious breakfast. Friendly service with a small town twist. I travel very often and stay at many hotels, B&B's etc. but this is honestly one of the best. I will be returning as often as I possibly can. Maybe I can get some personal time off and bring the wife, she would love it.

Visited with my wife for a night and stayed at the South Bunkie. We loved the property and accommodations and the staff was very friendly, helpful and always available. We wish we had been able to stay longer to go on the tour and experience a distillery tour or wine tasting.

I stayed three nights at the inn, which is a short 10-minute drive from downtown Nashville but located in a quiet area off the Whites Creek Pike. Everything about this place was top notch: the staff, the rooms, the amenities. I stayed in one of the free-standing units, the North Bunkie, basically a well-appointed cabin with a front porch. It...

I highly recommend if you want to visit Nashville but stay somewhere quiet. It's 10 minutes from downtown Nashville, but you would never know it! There are 6 individual rooms with their own bathrooms. Beautifully decorated, farmhouse inspired. Showers and towels are lovely. Rusty and Amy are very helpful -- we arrived late and they held over some dinner for...

The Inn at Fontanel is a luxury stay with some very welcoming hospitality. All of the rooms are plush and comfortable, beautiful furnishings, and everything you expect from a luxury hotel but the comforts of home. The staff are very welcoming and extremely accommodating. Breakfast was amazing and we were very pleased with dinner from the Cafe. The outside space...

A Luxury Boutique Hotel that opened in February 2014. Inspired by Middle Tennessee farmhouse style, and built to look as if it has always been there, you will find no other luxury hotel as warm and welcoming as the Inn at Fontanel.
