Towneplace Suites Nashville Midtown is often lauded for creating a welcoming atmosphere with its ongoing improvements and well-appointed rooms that include kitchenettes for added convenience. Its cleanliness is a point of pride, with numerous guests highlighting the immaculate condition of the rooms and public areas. While the location near downtown is quiet and increasingly attractive due to enhancements, the spacious rooms with modern comforts are particularly appreciated.
Despite some concerns over valet parking costs and organization, the friendly service from staff receives favorable mentions. However, opinions on the hotel's overall value and amenities are somewhat mixed.

My wife and I came to Nashville for a couple nights before going south for a wedding. This was our first experience in Nashville and this place made it so much better for being a quality home base for us. The valet is fast and friendly. The decor and style inside is modern and calming. Amazing views of the city can be seen from multiple places (attached picture was taken from the bar while I drank coffee in the morning).
The hotel is just outside of downtown and offers a Lyft discount if you want to get a ride in and avoid driving in the crazy traffic. It’s also close to music row, a ton of restaurants and two distilleries within walking distance. Nelson’s Green Brier distillery was amazing and very close.
The hotel bar food and drinks were delicious (we had beer cheese pretzels and margaritas). The gym is a little cramped, but it does have dumbbells, a weight machine with pullup bar, a couple treadmills, stationary bike and elliptical. On top of all of that, even though the hotel is close to a highway and in the city, our room was SO quiet. Possibly the best sound dampening I’ve had in a hotel. Inside our room there was a functional kitchen - glass dishes, pots and pans, a stove, a dishwasher, and a full-size refrigerator (we didn’t use it, but still nice to have).
If I had to take any strikes against the hotel, it’d be the feather pillows were awful. Disclaimer - I am picky about my pillows because of my neck and will be miserable if it’s anything but memory foam. Also, continental breakfast was kinda “meh”. I advise finding breakfast elsewhere if you can.
If we ever come back to Nashville we will absolutely stay here again, and will probably search out Towneplace Suites by Marriott in other cities when we travel from now on. Highly recommend!

AC keeps rooms cold and beds are comfortable. Staff are friendly and accommodating. Robert and the valet team were always there to greet us with a smile.
Rooms and showers were average but still good. Every time we returned something was going on to improve the location (painting, cleaning, etc). While we can appreciate the quality control, the hall smelled like paint (not a huge deal).

Pleasantly surprised when the taxi pulled up outside this hotel, after a short 15 minute taxi ride from the airport. Check in was smooth, efficient and friendly. The suite itself was spotlessly clean and well equipped although half a point off for no safe in the room to store money and passports. The location is a 15 minute walk from downtown Broadway and 15 minutes from the bars on Music Row. Sadly due to the significantly inclement weather Nashville was experiencing (heavy snowfall and -15C temperatures) our ability to walk was restricted. It is here that I’ve had to deduct another half point as we would have liked the hotel staff to be aware of travel options other than taxis. Indeed we eventually discovered the number 50 bus stops outside the hotel and drops you downtown in around 5 minutes. Whilst disappointed that staff were unable to advise on getting around or indeed things to see and do or places to eat and drink they were friendly and accommodating hence the award of 4/5. The hotel provides a complimentary breakfast that includes hot items and a range of continental options as well (pastries, muffins etc) Should we return to Nashville, we’d happily stay here again

Nice clean hotel and the staff was friendly. The rooms are spacious with full fridge, hot plate for cooking and dishes/dishwasher. Be careful when booking as they don't tell you there is $43/ night valet charge if you have a car. The hotel is over a mile away from Broadway (honky tonk district) so you can walk it but it's not the best area or pay for a lyft (the hotel gave us a $5 lyft credit per night we stayed.

Stayed here for two weeks for work. Fantastic hotel in a favorable location. Rooms are nice, come with a kitchen and a great view of midtown. Daily breakfast was excellent. Pet-friendly was a huge plus too as I had my dog with me.
Valet parking was the best part. Special shoutout to Matthew, Keevin and James who provided consistent valet service, were always polite and quick, and were so careful with my new truck. These guys are top notch! Thank you gentlemen!!

Stayed one night here for a concert at Bridgestone Arena April7 (a short Lyft ride to downtown and the hotel supplies $10 Lyft vouchers). The room was fine, although the sink faucet fell apart the morning we left and sprayed water all over everything. Hotel isn't even a year old. I felt very secure, as the Lobby is on the 5th floor and a room key is required to get to the room floors. Valet is available if needed. Besides the incredible price for what is basically a very nice standard room (40,000 Marriott points or $419.00) I was shocked at the lack of "breakfast." We went down 20 minutes before closing and there was practicallyl nothing available. People were standing outside the door to the kitchen area stating that "they are bringing out more food", but when the girl finally came out she said they were not bringing any more out, that it was near the 10AM closing time and they were cleaning up. People were stunned. There was a group of high schoolers there, and obviously their parents expected breakfast when they booked the hotel. And so did we. There was 1 piece of turkey sausage and something that looked like little egg omlettes in a steam tray, the cereal canisters were almost empty, no oatmeal (she said it takes 45 minutes to cook more and there was no time), 2 bagels and 3 pieces of bread for toast. It was NOT closing time. If breakfast is advertised until 10 then it should be available until 10. We were very disappointed as we needed to catch a plane and had to eat in the airport. I expect more of a Marriott, especially for the price. This made an otherwise nice stay unsatisfactory.

Great hotel. Very clean spacious rooms with kitchenette. On site bar and restaurant with burgers, wings and other bar type foods, with beautiful views. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Close enough to downtown to walk, about a mile or so to the center of the action. Valet parking is reasonably priced considering the average price of parking in Nashville. Hotel staff were all very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely stay again.

Super clean and very modern with efficient design! Definitely not the typical Townplace; this is much better than any we’ve stayed in. Some of the room features like the closet design, seats and kitchens setup may efficient use of space.
The location is very good for quick access to music row, Centenial Park and downtown. We were able to get some Lime scooters just a few blocks toward downtown and had a fun quick ride down Charlotte Ave to get to the downtown area.
The price for the room was reasonable but the mandatory $35 per day valet parking is additional. There were limited options to park our car outside of the hotel overnight. In our opinion, the hotel should offer self-parking in the hotel garage at a reduced rate.
We highly recommend this property!

This Marriott is new and the rooms are clean with a standard Townplace appointment. The rest is a mess. Valet parking is required at $40 a night. Paying for parking isn’t the issue. The issue is the valet service is unorganized and inefficient. If there is more than one person dropping off a car you can expect substantial delays. We left for the airport at 4:45am. Only people in the hotel leaving at that time and it took 25 minutes to get our car to us. (Trust me, I would love to park it myself. )This was after a fire alarm went off at 4am that evacuated the hotel. This was also chaotic with no direction from hotel staff. We waited in the street for the fire department that eventually came, never heard or saw a member of the hotel staff. This looks like a Marriott, but service felt like a Motel 6.

Great location in Midtown for a weekend family trip. It’s about 2 miles from busy downtown and we decided to Uber/ Lyft to downtown rather than drive. The suite was newer and clean. The small kitchenette was well equipped but we decided to try the famous Southern cuisine.
