The staff were Extremely friendly when we checked in! Gave us recommendations on places to eat & have drinks. We have a oversized dually truck so we were worried about parking but they have a parking lot right behind the hotel that we were able to park in! Great location & easy Walking distance to all the action downtown! Hotel was clean & rooms were nice. Very comfortable bed! I would definitely recommend this hotel & will stay here next time we are in town!
Wife and I were extremely disappointed in this hotel Location is OK, the walking distance to the "honkey tonks" and restaurants is good enough. Staff were great, this review is NO reflection on them. They tried hard. They did their best, and remained pleasant, despite the circumstances. Everything else pretty much sucked. We were charged $30 a day to park (I couldn't say how much on their websit becaue they censor your review to prevent it. THAT SHOULD TELL YOU SOMETHING!) in what might be the most congested, tiny parking garage I've ever seen. No mention of this charge when we booked the hotel online. We were told that the included breakfast was cancelled because of COVID. BUT, you could help yourself to a continental breakfast. How is that any safer? You could NOT pour your own coffee, or even add cream and sugar--wait in line while a hotel worker had to do that for you, while donning rubber gloves! It was almost not worth the inconvenience. But, you could walk ten steps away and help yourself to juice, milk, cereal, muffins, etc. Apparently only coffee, creamer and sugar spread COVID. (FOLLOW THE SCIENCE!) We were told, upon check-in, that there would be no new towels, changing of bed sheets or any other room services offered on our 3 day stay. We could come and get sheets and towels if we needed them. The hallway to our room was littered with soiled sheets from other rooms. Gross. BUT, FOLLOW THE SCIENCE!. WE'RE STOPPING COVID! The bottom line is that Holiday Inn is using COVID to cut costs. I get it. Times are hard on the hotel industry. The policies of this hotel made our stay uncomfortable, to say the least. Could NOT wait to get home. We will NEVER go back to this hotel. In fact, I will only stay at a Holiday Inn again if nothing else is available.…
ALL staff were very accommodating. (wish I written down their names to personally thank.) location was perfect. Able to walk to bars and restaurants Hotel as clean, quiet and modern decor. thanks for your extra touches for my celebration. love Nashville and Tennessee hospitality !
I would highly recommend this Holiday Inn Express. Close to Broadway action, all bars/restaurants walkable, well maintained/clean/great room/beds and great staff - James, Chris and every staff member we came into contact with were super friendly and able to accommodate any of our asks/questions. Plus decent continental breakfast items even with Covid limitations. Don't hesitate to book here.
We flew in from New Orleans, LA around 10 AM knowing our check-in time was not until 3 PM. Darryl went above and beyond to get us a room on the floor that our wedding party is on. He never not once lost his smile or composure. We need more people like him!! This place is stunning. And very clean. Would highly recommend it to anyone! Y’all HAVE to meet Darryl, he is the spirit of Holiday Inn and he embodies just that!! THIS MAN DESERVES ALL THE LOVE!! Give him a raise please!! I never stopped laughing. He truly is the king of this place!!
