This is a nice hotel conveniently located to Grand Ole Opry and mall. Easy to get to. The rooms are nice, the breakfast good. Beds are a little hard for my liking, but everything else was great. Good customer service. This is not near Broadway,...More
My family stayed here recently and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is easy to access and also allows you to avoid all of the downtown congestion. Our rooms were nice and clean with no issues.

The shuttle from the hotel to to downtown was jacked up to $35 per person when we were there recently. That was $95 for three people! We were told at the desk by two different people that it was cheaper than an Uber. Nope, we...More

The hotel shuttle goes to the opryland hotel when you request it and they return when you call them. Very convenient. The Monarch shuttle is a little different. They come to the hotel at the top of the hour if you request the hotel staff to call them. They drop off and pick up downtown at the convention center which is a short walk to "honky tonk row". Short walk approximately 3 blocks. They pick up at the convention center at the half hour. There are multiple shuttles and ours only took holiday inn guests back and forth, but they also go to the Wyndham resort next door so when catching the return shuttle, make sure you're on the correct bus.
Our personal experience with the hotel shuttle was excellent. Very nice staff. We had planned to stay at the Opryland hotel for a couple of hours, but had to return in less than 45 minutes and our driver returned to pick us up within 10 minutes of our request. You will need a phone to contact them for a return ride.
Our experience with the downtown shuttle was fairly good. They only run until certain hours in the am but it was pretty late, like 2:30 am. Be sure to check if planning to be downtown late. We had one small glitch in our return ride. Too many guests were returning at the same time to the Wyndham resort and we had to exit our smaller van shuttle so they could accommodate all the Wyndham guests on two shuttles and we had to wait for a third one to pick us up. Added about 10 extra minutes to our wait. Also, please note there is not seating in front of the convention center so after walking downtown, you will be standing while you wait for your shuttle. My group of 8 had some sitting on the curb. The convenience and cost of the shuttle vs having to pay to park downtown and navigate the city streets was well worth the $10 fee.
