    Quick, Amazing Trip!
    I stayed shortly after they reopened and had a wonderful experience. I booked a trip to celebrate my anniversary with my girlfriend and we were treated like VIPs from the minute we walked in. Everyone was so kind and welcoming, they even sent a bottle of champagne sent to the room when they heard about our special occasion! Traveling during COVID days is no doubt strange but they took every precaution necessary to make guests feel safe. There were hand sanitizer stations what felt like every 5 feet, everyone was wearing masks and staff was always out cleaning. I look forward to returning and thank everyone at the property for going above and beyond to make our first-time trip to Nashville uniquely special! We will be back!!

    Quick Trip for 21st Birthdays
    Had a 4th of July trip to Nashville planned and was intending to stay Friday and Saturday nights at the JW Marriott. Our travel party was 7 (4 rooms) and we were meeting another travel party of 6. We had initially booked through Expedia as I had points and free nights accumulated. As we were leaving Illinois on Thursday morning, Nashville announced closing of bars. After significant back and forth, we decided to head that way, cancel through Expedia for Friday and Saturday, and rebooked directly through JW for Saturday night only. The team was super accommodating and we showed up Saturday morning with a good taste in our mouth and ready to see what was open. I had reserved a cabana for the day through Trey and team and it was the highlight of the trip. We spent almost 6hrs by the pool, had an awesome meal at Puckett's, and found an open honkytonk down on Broadway. The flexibility of the JW team allowed our kids to have an awesome 21st birthday. Hotel was in awesome shape and the staff made it feel as though we were in a luxury hotel, while implementing safety precautions to ensure everyone felt safe.

    Great property location and A+ service. Beware of additional fees.
    I will say that the JW Marriott provides excellent customer service and offers a great location to all things downtown Nashville. Lobby, Valet, and Bell service was A+ in my book. However, the additional fees to everything on the property is concerning. The days of only seeing "fill in the blank fees", "delivery fees", and "valet fees" at resort or beach destinations are gone. 1) Valet parking fee:$42 USD daily: No car wash, oil change, tire rotation, or complimentary coffee at the cafe included. I always tip valet service $3-$5 per interaction and with the $42 required valet ticket per day, you can end up spending half a Benjamin per day in valet costs. Off premises parking is available if you want to risk one of the public lots. Wifi fee of $7.99 USD daily unless you have a Bonvoy (Marriott Rewards) account. Make sure that your Convoy account is setup and linked to your reservation prior to arrival or be expected to call in an escalation to customer care if you wish to use wifi. Minimum Delivery Fee of $5 USD for room service. If you expect to get a pot of coffee delivered to your room, that coffee currently runs $12 USD (excluding required gratuity of 22% / $3.74). The total for one miniature pot of coffee ended up being $22.97 USD (Including tax, required gratuity, and delivery fee). In the post COVID era, a guest should have an option to opt out of the $5 room delivery fee to walk downstairs to pick up the pot of coffee and then instead tip the cafe employee that $5 or more. I'm not a direct descendent of the Vanderbilt family, but the amount of fees that the average blue collar family ends up paying is astounding in 2021. If you want to stay near downtown and want to be within walking distance of Bridgestone, Tootsie's, the Opry, etc. Be prepared for feestravaganza at the JW. If money is not an issue, I highly recommend the JW for anyone wanting to experience all things Nashville. If you're on a budget and plan on bringing your family, you may want to check out the JW website ahead of time for a detailed fee list prior to booking.

This is a nice hotel but could use some help with the concierge department. I was suppose to have an upgraded room to a deluxe on a high floor preferably facing the city but not necessary. My checkin time was set to 2pm and I arrived closer to 3 and was told my room wasn’t ready and they could put me in a room immediately but it wouldn’t be my requested room so I told them I wasn’t in a hurry and would go across the street to my convention and come back later when my room was ready. About an hour later I received the text stating my room was ready so we went back and got our luggage and went to the room. It wasn’t a deluxe room and it wasn’t on a high floor nor was it facing the city. It was on the 15th floor facing nothing. I called down front and asked about it and the girl was fairly rude saying they were booked up and i had only requested those options and that’s the best they could do. So I ask, what good is it being a regular with Marriott rewards if I get nothing I asked for? As for the room is was ok but had no refrigerator. The bathroom didn’t have a lot of privacy due to there being a sliding door instead of a door you could close and lock so if you’re on a business trip with someone just know someone can easily see right into the shower from the room. Also, no fan in the bathroom. The towels were nice and so were the pillows and bedding. I slept well except for the loud bangs from the heavy steel doors slamming shut every time someone entered or left their rooms. That was annoying. Maybe they could do something to soften the closing of the doors? Also the AC stopped working when it was time to go to bed. The next morning it was working but then stopped again later that day so we called down front. A repairman came about 30 minutes later and had it fixed in less then 5 minutes. All good. There were at least 2 conventions going on and we decided that afternoon to go unwind and relax in the pool. We changed and went down to the floor with the pool only to find it was closed for maintenance. This was very unfortunate considering the hotel was booked full. They did have a hotel down the street that would allow us to swim there but who wants to walked a couple of blocks to another hotels pool? All in all, it was a decent stay but for the price they charge it should’ve been exceptional.

I travel quite frequently for business, so I know great customer service when I receive it. Although I am a very busy bank executive, I needed to pause and write this review. At check-in at the front desk, I was not in the best mood. Flights delayed, exhausted and to top it off I left my cell phone in the Uber! The smile, warmth and the catering to “ME”, I received from Kedjhone Brown was second to none. Ok, so she checked me in and told me about the hotel-I expected that, but she went a bit above and beyond because she could see that I was frustrated. She asked me if everything was ok, and if she could do anything to make my stay a pleasant one. She was so warm in her approach, I shared with her I wasn’t having a great day. I can’t even put it into words how her warmth and sincerity helped me to feel better. I could literally “feel” she cared. How do you stay “grumpy” with someone like that??? When I finally did receive my phone back, Kedjhone was still at the front desk, and literally cheered with me that I had received my phone back. I always love staying at the JW Marriott when I come to Nashville, but now I’m even more dedicated to staying only here when I come back again.

I met an old college friend in Nashville for a short reunion. The last few days have been hectic with travel plans, Uber, flights, and securing tickets for our time in the city. I was a flustered mess by the time I got to the hotel. All of that went away the moment I set foot in the JW Nashville! From being greeted, to the check-in process, to the beautiful room, it instantly turned into a stress free oasis. Top notch staff and facilities. After settling in, my buddy and I decided to have some drinks to get ready for our first outing in the city. Our server, Rae, was a new found friend from the moment she approached us. Friendly, attentive, knowledgeable….and funny! She made several recommendations and gave us tips for things to do and how to navigate the area. She saw us in the bar area the next day and even checked in to make sure we were having a great time and that everything was going well. Perfect start to our trip. Thanks, Rae! We’ll be back!

Enjoyed a recent stay at this property for business, the hotel is in a great location and a short stroll from restaurants and shopping. Beautiful and modern rooms with spa-like amenities, the yogi sleep machine was a nice touch. My husband and I love JW hotels and this one was great. The bedroom of our suite was situated in the curve of the building creating a cute little alcove with a couch that was fantastic to curl up in. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The Executive Lounge offered great apps in the afternoon and the breakfast had fresh, healthy choices with responsive staff. This hotel would be my 1st choice for future stays.

The entire process for checkin and getting our bags to the rooms was smooth. We were tired and didn’t feel up to leaving that day for dinner; no problem there was a wonderful steakhouse upstairs. Kedjhone was so helpful and gave us AMAZING recommendations on places in the city. I will def book this hotel again when we return to Nashville

This was my fourth trip to Nashville and my first time staying at a JW Marriott and WOW!!! My sweet boyfriend booked it for me as a surprise and I was blown away by the gesture alone but even more so because the hotel was absolutely phenomenal!! From the moment we arrived we were greeted by their amazing staff, given extra time and attention to introduce us to the beautiful property and all the amazing amenities. Hector, our bellhop, was truly amazing and went out of his way to assist us with our luggage and help get us settled. He was also there on our day of checkout and provided the most wonderful service. The on-site restaurant and bar are also amazing!! The JW overall exceeded all expectations and made our stay truly fantastic!! Highly recommend!!!
