The rooms were amazing and very clean and the view was wonderful. We had the pleasure of running into a gentleman named James Hill Sr and he carried our luggage to the room and was very personable and very proud that we chose JW Marriott for our celebration. He told us about the steak house on the 34 th fl and advised us to make a reservation if we wanted to go but we were only staying the one night. I wish every hotel had a "Jim" and I hope we run into him on our next stay.

This is the third time in less than a year I have stayed at this hotel and it just gets better every time! Most recently, I was there post covid in August and while not a whole lot was open on Broadway -- we were great because the hotel staff was exceptional. Scott Irwin went out of his way to find the places downtown that were open so my friend and I didn't have to wander around looking for places. Rooms were exceptionally clean, the staff was ready to help us with anything we needed. Masks were enforced and the common areas were being cleaned constantly. The pool was kept at a particular capacity and spaced appropriately. Overall, it was an EXCELLENT trip and MANY THANKS to Scott for being awesome!

Dear Kaceyf2015, 5 stars! Thank you, Kacey. This means so much to us. First and foremost, we would like to thank you for your loyalty. It's always a pleasure and an honor to welcome back kind, familiar faces and I'm so happy you enjoyed yourself during your most recent visit in the midst of what are most certainly unusual times. We are thrilled to highlight our resort-like amenities amongst the restrictions, and while they are beginning to lift more and more each day, we continue to take great pride in making our property an urban oasis with a plethora of offerings that stand all on their own. I can't wait to tell Scott that you mentioned him by name. He is going to be so happy. He is a true asset to our property and we are so grateful to have him as a part of our dedicated team. We can't wait to welcome you back again soon, Kacey! Until then - we wish you nothing but the best! Sincerely, Hanna Bankston

I'm torn. Overall, I had a great stay at the hotel. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable, and I really enjoyed my time at the pool. I did not encounter overcrowding at the pool and everyone respected each other's personal space there. The employees were also very friendly. My main concern is that even though the hotel has multiple signs noting that guests are required to wear masks in common areas, there were many people roaming the hotel (in the lobby, elevator, in the hallways on the floors) who were not wearing masks and I did not see hotel employees attempt to get guests to comply with the mask rules. Also, this hotel seems to be very popular with groups that come to Nashville on the weekends to party.

Dear Emily, Thank you for choosing our Nashville luxury hotel for your recent getaway and for making time to visit us here on TripAdvisor to share your recent experience. While I'm pleased that you thoroughly enjoyed our welcoming hospitality, spacious guestrooms, thoughtful resort-like amenities, and the extra precautions we are taking on our rooftop pool deck to ensure adequate social distancing, I am disheartened to learn that you felt our mask enforcement fell to the wayside. These new and challenging waters are ones we are learning to navigate daily in different and more efficient ways, and we are grateful for your candor, as we too noticed that some guests tend to forget to put their masks on while walking from one area of the property to the other. While this is often an innocent mistake, we concluded that placing a member of our staff in the lobby to provide a gentle reminder to those not in compliance would be beneficial, and I'm happy to report that this initiative has since been executed. Again, we appreciate your feedback and thank you for allowing us the opportunity to host you during your time here in Nashville. We hope to have the pleasure of your company again soon. Wishing you all the best. Sincerely, Hanna Bankston

I took my husband to this hotel for his birthday. Excellent staff, comfortable beds, and our room was so clean!! You will not be disappointed and it is so close to the live music -you could walk. Spend a little extra on the executive suite, it is well worth it!!! This will be our new hang-out when we are in Nashville.

Dear Kel2012, We're so happy you enjoyed your time at our hotel while celebrating your husband's birthday! All of downtown's activities make this city the perfect spot for a fun getaway and we were thrilled to be your home-base for your visit. It sounds like you two had a blast exploring and enjoying all the live music and you're right, there is something so nice about coming back to a suite to relax in. We love the solitude that the Executive Suite reading nook provides, and of course the incredible Nashville skyline views and all that extra living space! You chose well :) We loved having the opportunity to host you and hope to welcome you back soon. Thank you for choosing our hotel and for taking the time to share your kind, thoughtful words with us. Yours in hospitality, Hanna Bankston

Dear Cametam, We are so appreciative for the time you took to review our property, and more importantly, we want you to know how grateful we are for you and your business. Your compliments mean the world to us as providing a clean, safe, and fun environment for each of our valued guests is our utmost priority. We are so happy to read that you had a chance to explore all that Nashville has to offer right outside our front doors. The Cumberland River especially is so beautiful -- we hope you also had a chance to walk across the pedestrian bridge that crosses over the river, that is an especially fun activity in spring/summer/and fall. Thank you again for stopping by to share your kind words with us. We hope we have the chance to welcome you through our doors again soon. Until then, we wish you nothing but continued health, happiness, and success always. Sincerely, Hanna
