Outstanding and professional staff at the Hermitage. Bravo! The location to downtown and the amenities at the hotel rivaled any other five star establishment in the country. Worth a weekend or longer for sure.

A welcome respite from the noise and crowds of Music Row, this impeccably restored historic hotel is jut a a few blocks away from the music and museums. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed with beautiful furnishings and a Nespresso machine. Past guests include presidents, rock stars, and many well-known dignitaries. A picture in the lobby shows Gene Autry and his horse checking in as a publicity stunt. Breakfast in the Atrium was a highlight. Definitely a hotel for the older crowd. This is not a party place, however, it is lovely and restorative.

Couldn't have been more perfect or more professional. I travel frequently for work. Rarely do I find accommodations that knock it out of the park on every level of service. From cleanliness to friendliness to quality of food and drink. Additionally the customer service was unparalleled.

Quality of staff was not up to The Hermitage standards during our last stay. Rooms clean and accommodations a 10. Upon check in our room nor package was as reserved. Room service took 3 calls to order, 1 call to followup, 1 hour to receive and order was incorrect. Turn down service should be non existent. Took 3 tries to get survey to accept. I've called 3 times to provide feedback being disconnected or no return call. I hope we are not seeing a new "normal" for The Hermitage as it saddens me for such a great property to not care more about the experience of it's guest.

The Beaux-Arts architecture and classic furnishings transport you back to the truly grand hotels of yesteryear, not the chain hotels called “grand” today. The lobby exudes the warmth and grace (and ornateness) of that period. Be sure to take in the decoration of the high ceilings. The guest rooms are spacious and classically furnished, while incorporating key updates like HVAC and double glazing. The updated bathrooms offer (in our room at least) a large bath, walk-in shower, and separate toilet room. Amenities extended beyond the basic: Molton Brown bath items including an exfoliating pad, a sewing kit, robes of course, and a wide selection of different pillows for the bed. And unlike some high-end hotels, the Hermitage does not nickel and dime you with internet fees or facility/amenity/resort fees. Despite dining renovations underway during the Covid downturn, the dinner was delicious: very tender short ribs, a good chicken confit, and a delicate and creative beet salad. All in all, an outstanding hotel that we would return to with pleasure.
