We stayed at the Fairfield Inn Opryland from January 30 th. to April 4, 2017. This is a fantastic hotel and we have stayed here at different times, the first time being in December of 1996 just six months after it opened. We have stayed at the Fairfield for the past four years for two month intervals at a time....

As the other reviews state, this hotel is being renovated. If you are truly put off by overt signs of renovation and a hotel getting an overhaul, look elsewhere. However, if you don't waste a lot of bandwidth on these issues, if you like an excellent breakfast, truly helpful staff and shuttle drivers, rooms that get nice light, proximity to...

My mother and I checked in to the Fairfield Inn & Suites this past Friday and were immediately greeted with a very nice lady at the check-in counter. Check-In was a breeze, and she was very informative of all the events that were going on in the area. She quickly got us to our room and ready to enjoy our...

We spent 2 nights here in room 320. The room was nice, and been recently re-painted and had new carpet. The breakfast space was inadequate for the large crowd on Saturday morning, and there was not enough seating to handle the rush. The crew did a good job of keeping the food stocked. The location is about 2 miles to...

On family vacation to Nashville and the Grand Ole Opry, called around on way into town for lodging. Most prices in area were btw 150-200 at national chain hotels without advanced reservations (not sure if it would have been cheaper or not?) that we're close to Opry, some $99-140 priced rooms about 5 miles away closer to airport and downtown...

We booked this hotel not knowing how far it was from the downtown action. If you want to drink downtown you do not want to drive back to this hotel However if you are going to the Opry or other attraction in the are ir is a good place

I've stayed at this Fairfield many times over the past 20 years, usually once or twice a year. Sadly, this will be my last stay at this hotel. Here's why: Since Marriott "upgraded" the points program, this older property has now been changed to a 6. I can no longer use my free night to stay here. That seems to...

We at the property do not have control over how points are determined by Marriott. There are many factors, but one is based on popularity. If one property has more than its fair share of people using rewards it could cause it to go up a level. So next year it might go down in the number of points needed...

We stayed for one night to celebrate our son's birthday who wanted to spend the night in Nashville. The Fairfield is our typical hotel of choice when we travel, so we have stayed in a few. This is one of the smaller Fairfield hotels I have stayed in, but the rooms and amenities are the same as all the others....

From our stay I can't really point out anything really great but also nothing really bad. Great location with close access to where we were at near opry land. The floor we were staying on was under construction but wasn't a distraction, if anything just a little unpleasant to see but not a big deal. The person who checked us...

4 out of 5 rooms for our group had stink bugs in them. I had one in my bed crawling on me in the middle of the night. There was a strange brown goo blob in an air conditioner vent. Some rooms smelled horrible. The water in the lobby tasted moldy. The water in the taps tasted worse. One of...
