We had an amazing stay at the Westin! Customer service was great! And let me tell you about their Valet service, HANDS DOWN THE MOST AMAZING, RESPECTFUL, HOSPITALITY, PROFESSIONAL gentleman I have ever met. Alex,Tyler, Parker, Adam, Matt, Jamison, and Connor thank you so so much for being seriously the greatest people I have ever met. Your hard work and dedication SHOULD NOT go unrecognized! Y’all are the best. Thank you. I highly recommend the stay here!
Location was perfect for walking or renting electric scooters to get around. I didn't give an Excellent rating cause the pictures of the pool made it look a lot bigger than it was. And the guy was kind of rude at the rooftop bar saying we had to wait for a table and all we wanted was to go sit at the bar and order a drink. Front desk was amazing and even gave me a late check out since our flight wasn't till 7pm that night. I ordered room service and it was quick but the burger was over cooked and the fries were very plain no salt or seasoning on them. I asked for coke with ice and never got the ice. There were no condiments for the burger or fries either. The next day I ordered just toast and the guy taking the order kept trying to convivence me to go to the buffet which I thought was rude, I called for roomservice I want room service. Order came quickly, however the waiter didn't have pen, so I pulled one out of my purse to sign bill. There was no butter on the toast or on the side. A few mins later he brought me more toast saying he was sorry he didn't have a pen. Still no butter on it. A few mins later another knock and a different waiter had an order of toast for me. I said you guys have brought me 2 orders already and I only ordered 1. He said oh ok and left, a few seconds later he knocks again asking for me to sign and pay for the toast. I said I already signed and paid for it. He looked at me like I was lying so I had to go get the piece of paper showing I signed already for it. Bed was VERY Comfortable…
The pictures aren’t true to the pool size. The rooms have a musty smell. The sheets have a musty smelled asked for them to be changed that never happened. The lobby bar is where they host the breakfast buffet. Which is $25.00 and not worth $10.00. The towels are horrible probably the worst towels of any hotel we’ve stayed at in a long time. The reason we gave 2 stars was because the shower is nice and Quinn the bartender at the rooftop lounge was fantastic.
So we stayed at the Westin June 4-7 and the obviousness of them being short staffed is evident. The staff at CheckIn was very nice and took good care of us and the Quinn the Bartender on the 27th floor Was great. The reason I can only give this hotel 3 stars come down to the fact that or bed linens smelled musty and mildewed. On Saturday morning I requested they be changed and a new set of towels also. Neither happened. I used a t shirt as a pillow case to get away from the smell of the linens. I realize they are short staffed. But having to sleep in a smelly bed for the price we paid to me is unacceptable. We will not be choosing a Westin property in any of our future travel plans.
Disappointing service and absolutely terrible breakfast made this hotel lose two full stars for me. Pros. Great comfortable spacious rooms with excellent shower in the bathroom. Cons. No Starbucks in lobby and no close by breakfast options. The $25 breakfast buffet was pathetic. I have seen better at a 2 star hotel. Eggs bacon oatmeal. That’s it. No bread. No fruit. No yogurt. Nothing. $25 ! Unacceptable. Plus no maid service despite absolutely zero covid rules say to me the no maid service is a cost cutting gesture not a. Covid safety thing. I am vaccinated so ok with no covid rules, but you need to provide maid service at this price. And $50 a night parking. Ridiculous
