Travelers' Choice
Our downtown Nashville luxury boutique hotel. There’s no place like Nashville, the perennial Southern crossroads that refuses to be typecast. And at the heart of this little big town’s explosive growth, our luxury boutique hotel in The Gulch is the place to be. Sharing the block with beloved bluegrass and roots music icon The Station Inn, Thompson Hotels celebrates this city’s creative spirit, with Nashville’s own Hastings Architecture Associates and Executive Chef Nathan Duensing weaving an energetic new neighborhood luxury hotel destination into the local fabric. Join us on the rooftop bar for porch sippin’ cocktails, twenty regional brews and spectacular views from downtown Nashville to SoBro. Then head down to Marsh House restaurant for a seafood-focused, Gulf-to-Gulch take on Southern cooking, driven by the bounty of our local farmers and makers.

Urban industrial and hip feel. Rooms and public spaces look new and stylish. Lots of young patrons. Great coffee shop. Almond croissant was delicious. Rooftop extremely popular. Good signage and compliance with pandemic restrictions.

I recently moved away from Nashville and have been all over the city, including hotels for events and business. Upon visiting this past weekend, I should have been going to the Thompson all along! Between Killabrew, LA Jackson and the quality of the rooms/customer service, this is easily the nicest luxury hotel to stay at in Nashville!

We stayed here on a getaway the same weekend that the Tennessee Titans had a home game. The facilities were spotless and service was great. Room service meal was prompt and hot. Housekeeping provided extra towels and shampoo conditioner upon request in a friendly manner. The room was large and the bathroom was spacious. It did take a long time for the shower to get warm. The streets can get a little loud at night as the hotel is surrounded by numerous popular restaurants and bars. The valet was a little disorganized in retrieving our car upon initial request. The Frist museum, Bridgestone arena, and other landmarks are walking distance or a short Uber trip nearby. Overall a quality place to stay while visiting Nashville.

We had a great stay at the Thompson Nashville! Excellent service and a relaxing stay. There is plenty of great shopping and restaurants nearby. We came for the night for a couples getaway and will definitely be back.
