Our large family group took over all the rooms in Auberge for the weekend, as a convenient location to attend a wedding locally. The house was comfortable, eclectically decorated, and very clean. We were welcomed by Rebecca, the housekeeper, but next day met the proprietor, Patricia, on her return from holidays. Both were very friendly, hospitable and super obliging. The...

After the third phone call from the owner to determine our time of arrival, I began to feel a little anxious about what lay ahead. And my intuition was correct...an argumentative owner finally greeted us after 2 attempts (once at 4.30 then at 5.30) to have someone answer the door. We were shown to our twin room that could only...

We had the privilege of staying at Auberge Woodend last August. From the moment we stepped in we felt welcome and appreciated by our host Patricia. The bed was comfortable and the room with ensuite was clean and spacious and provided with all the mod-cons one could hope for. Breakfast was scrumptious with eggs cooked the way you like them....

We enjoyed a very relaxing and peaceful four nights at Auberge B&B .Our hostess Patricia, was friendly and accommodating and we were made to feel most welcome and at home. Little touches like the small gifts left each day with the beautifully arranged fresh towels on our made bed were greatly appreciated. A delicious cooked breakfast was provided by Patricia...

We stayed for one night at the Auberge Bed and Breakfast at Woodend. The room was a bit small for the two of us but it had tea and coffee and a stocked mini fridge which was useful after our commute from Melbourne. The bathroom was bright, new and clean, and the room was small but airy and had a...

We were looking for a weekend away not to far from Melbourne and Woodend meet our requirements because it is barely an hours drive for us. This farmstay/b&b is located about 7 minutes drive from the centre of Woodend at the end of a short lane. Its location is perfect if you want somewhere quiet with just the usual farm...

We were greeted warmly by the owner, Patricia, and were promptly shown the facilities and our room. Easy check-in procedures. The room itself was very comfortable, if not a little small. The bathroom was functional and clean, but maybe in need of a little minor maintenance. Reverse-cycle aircon and electric blankets were a necessity and were weclome! Our room had...
