If you appreciate a bucolic working farm with genuine hospitality, this stay will provide all that. We stayed in Wiley's Room which took us back in time. This was a wonderful intermezzo between Memphis and Nashville. Take time to learn about Bob's sculptures and Anita's many interests.
Mulberry Lavender Farm is the perfect place to get away. Great to turn off the devices and actually just have time to enjoy a real working sheep farm. Being able to walk around and take in the wonderful variety of farm animals and hear Bob and Anita's stories of their interesting lives. I can't imagine that 2 people could fit in everything they have and are doing. It was an extra treat to know they are from The Netherlands which is where my wife's grandmother was from. The cottage was private and had our wonderful breakfast brought to us. We could have stayed there for many more days. Will definitely plan another visit.
Had a lovely stay in this old and historical yet very comfortable B&B. Liked the big room, comfortable bed and historical art and memorabilia. The breakfast was superb and the host helpful and friendly. The turkey, peacocks, ducks, donkey and lambs added atmosphere. The lavender honey on the warm scones is to die for. Convenient for bourbon trail visitors - Jack Daniel’s and George Dickell not too far away by car.
We wanted a peaceful weekend away and that's exactly what we got. This is the first trip we have taken in quite a while where we were actually sad to have to leave. Everything at Mulberry Lavender farm and B&B was perfect. We were greeted by sweet Anita and Bubba the turkey (Bubba became our faithful companion over the weekend). The room was absolutely amazing, decorated perfectly for the period and very clean. We were allowed to wander the farm and visit the animals and had the best time just sitting on the porch watching them all. Breakfast both mornings was so delicious. I told Anita my husband was a picky eater and she made accommodations for him. I loved that they waste no food; anything not eaten became compost or fed the animals. One of the tastiest things I tried was their lavender honey. I had to buy some to bring home! I could just go on and on about what a fantastic place this was for a weekend get away. Both Bob and Anita are such warm, friendly, interesting people. Just an absolutely amazing place to stay. Very much worth the money. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much Anita and Bob! A beautiful place to escape the hustle and bustle of life. Mulberry Lavender Farm and B&B was everything we were hoping it would be. Anita and Bob are wonderful hosts and provide a truly serene and beautiful atmosphere. We stayed in the cottage. The moment you enter, you're captivated by a lovely lavender aroma. The cottage was charming and we loved being surrounded by a variety of farm animals. The farm is also convenient to several area attractions. The breakfast was out-of-this-world: wholesome food with special touches right from the farm. We enjoyed the peace and quiet, lovely backdrop, and hospitality this B&B provides and highly recommend.
