Dennis and Lisa ensure that a stay here is the perfect caravan park experience. With a great location alongside Lake King (with birdlife, fish and turtles in residence), it is not a bustling Big4 experience, but a serene and relaxing one. The modest size means they personal touch and attention is not lost, with the hosts willing to go that extra distance to make sure your stay is a pleasant one. Facilities are great, especially modern and clean cabins. Golf course right behind for the keen golfers, and a public playground for kids next door. Also convenient for day trips to Corowa, Beechworth, and a huge selection of local wineries. Daily Happy Hour by the fire pit next to to the lake is a great touch. Not for the big late night party crews, this is for those who appreciate the serenity and the opportunity to unwind.
Thank L S

Dennis and Lisa thank you for making our first experience of Rutherglen memorable. Great little caravan park. Toilets and showers were clean and tidy. Great sized power sites. Kids had a ball with a fantastic play ground next door. Walking distance to pubs, shops and most importantly Parker Pies!!. Wineries all in close driving distance. Camp kitchen was very handy for washing up. Communal fire was an interesting experience sharing travel stories with other Caravaners and Campers. Will definitely be back

Just back from our weekend stay in Rutherglen to enjoy the Warrabilla long lunch. My sister has stayed here before and booked us a cabin next to hers. Delightful. Brand new inside and out, and best of all over looking the lake. Perfectly close to town, so stumbling home is easy!!
Thanks for a great stay.

We have just returned from Rutherglen. It was supposed to be a five night stay.... We were having so much fun we extended our visit. It was the first trip with our caravan so we approached the caravan park with trepidation. Dog in tow, my partner and I didn't pre book. We made a phone call in the morning to check if the park was dog friendly (and it is) and rolled up. The owners Lisa and Denis are gems. The park was clean and well managed. Even though the amenities are a little old. They are clean and maintained. Rutherglen Caravan and Tourist Park is a place to meet other people. This is due to LIsa's bubbly personality. A welcoming smile and ready to have a chat Lisa has a lovely personality which encourages all to join in the group. Every night of our stay either Denis or LIsa would light the fire pit set up the chairs and have a plate of nibbles to share. All the guests were invited to join them and most did. It was a lovely way to unwind from a busy work schedule. We meet people from all over. Thank you LIsa and Denis for your hospitality.
Thank Jacqueline G
