Stayed at the Stony Creek Cottages for a birthday weekend, found the place to be extremely comfortable and inviting. Our host Louise, was extremely helpful and very accommodating. The cottage has a log fire which we got to use (even though it was the end of October). The cottage is located very centrally and all the wineries were very easy...

Our 3rd trip down to Red Hill in as many months and getting to know the area well. Found a hidden gem in Stony Creek Cottages. The owner called on the day of our arrival to make sure there was anything that we may need and to confirm arrival time. There was nothing that was a problem and our warm...

We had a great few days at Stoney Creek Cottages. We were made very welcome by the owner Louise. The cottages were lovely, views from the rooms terrific and the fire made the cottage just so cosy. Would highly recommend the cottages and the area.

Louise our host was extremely warm and welcoming. The cottage was comfortable, warm (thanks to the fact that the wood heater was on before our arrival), spacious and clean. The choice of breakfast provisions was great and the chocolates were a nice touch! Will visit again!

Thoroughly enjoyed it. Great place to stay. Everything we needed and within walking distance to great food and wine. Would highly recommend Green Olive and Petite Tracteur. So much at Red Hill we're already planning to return. Winter a great time, less crowds.

Louise the owner is a fabulous friendly hostess. Her enthusiasm for the area is great. The cottage is as beautiful as the view across the valley. Treat yourself to a sunrise. It's worth getting up for. The cottage is well stocked with local produce for your breakfasts, the bathroom is well stocked for the spa & showering, the wood fire...

“There are two identical cottages side by side, the Rose and the Kookaburra. The Kookaburra is a little more private, as people coming down the drive can look into the Rose if the blinds aren't drawn. Both, however, are secluded and have stunning views and private gardens.”
