Half way between adelaide and Melbourne, Nhill is a town long past it's glory days but a great place to break the drive. The Zero Inn is basic, but at $105 a night, great value. Room was country motel oriental chic - basic but comfortable. Highway sounds (interstate transports) were there during the night but normal for a place like... More

Perfect place halfway between Melbourne and Adelaide. Inexpensive motel that is all that you need in clean and tidy rooms with friendly service. Stayed here twice and cant complain, will be back again.

Comfortable stay. While the rooms are a bit ordinary, they have everything you need and the bathrooms are new. Service was very helpful and friendly. When we said we were going to do our own breakfast (rather than order from the motel) as we had muesli etc. with us, we were offered bowls and spoons. You could hear freight trains... More

was visiting on business staying at the Zero Inn for the single night. The welcome amazing, heater and lights turned on for me on my return to the room. Service really great. The room is basic but new bathroom and really clean I will stay again. It is a busy motel not surprising judging by the welcome and service.

We arrived late and left early but it was a comfortable and quiet place to spend the night. Even though we arrived late the owner had put the heater on in our room and she offered to help with our bags.

I do a lot of country long haul drives. I would go out of my way to stay in this lovely hotel. Dana, our host greeted us with a smile! I turned up late and she said, "Don't worry I have turned the heater on. the room was spotless, the bed comfy and the sheets white. Thank you Dana!

We wanted to stop on the drive between Melbourne and Adelaide and Nhill is about half way. The Zero Inn is in an easy to find location on the main highway. The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was quite modern with a good TV and was warm on a cold night - the owners had put the... More

Nice clean motel. Tastefully decorated. Run very efficiently by the owners. Good price. Ideal stopover for travellers. Only downside is that it's opposite the train line and the trains passing through are quite loud. Overall very happy with our stay.

It is Nhill so don't expect the Hyatt, booking in was easy, room was okay, noises levels where fine, bed was comfortable , good value for money , its fine for a sales representative, breakfast was good, only issue is the water pressure of the shower.

On a recent road trip to Adelaide, stopped over night. Great value, neat and clean, helpful staff. Only down side as it was a Monday night the restaurant was not open, and the hotel was very ordinary.
