We stayed one night. Carpet in room was stained and old. Tiles around spa falling off. Red lounge in entrance dilapidated and tired. This is not a four star property. No breakfast and no spa available. Room was freezing on arrival and 80s gas heater noisy. Extremely poor value. I reported to front office the condition of the room on departure.

Overall stay was good. Pros: Great views from the room, fantastic spa bath tub on the podium to relax, warm with the gas heater on, comfortable king-size bed, mini-fridge. Property is close to Mt.Macedon, Woodend, Trentham. Very quiet. Cons: Kitchenette is tiny with no microwave, TV has a very funny setup with no remote control (so you need to adjust...

A wonderful three days spent at this hotel at a work conference. Spectacular views from the room. Well appointed room includes fluffy bathrobes too! Gas fire as well as reverse air conditioning for the cool nights. As for the food amazing! Not one complaint to be had. Great service from the wonderful staff. I will be back.

Located an easy 40 minute drive from Tullamarine Airport, this nice, modern hotel has a great view of Mount Macedon (and the adjacent freeway). The staff are very friendly and are happy to assist. We were surpised to learn however that there was no breakfast available at the restaurant or in-room. Despite being part of a conference at the hotel's...

4.3 Stars - definitely NOT. We have just had 5 days there. Minimal on everything. No microwave. No coffee mugs. No bubble bath for the tub. NO ROOM SERVICE ON SUNDAY! 2 towels only. Toilet paper - 1 ply! No contact staff on site after 5.00pm. No information folder in the room. On Saturday night, we were surrounded with numerous...

This place is a hidden gem, the rooms are very large with a king size bed but the spa bath in the room with views of the Macedon mountains was the icing on the cake. The gas log fire was another thing I havent come across in a motel either. The bed was comfy and pillows both soft and firm...

We recently had a very enjoyable lunch with friends on a very cold day. We were offered the table closest to the open fire with spectacular views over the city. Our friends had travelled from the other side of the city and were certainly not disappointed having made the long trip.

I booked this at the last minute when my choice was limited and did not expect much given the reviews. When we drove in to the grounds, we were pleasantly surprised and when we opened the door to our room we were most pleased. There was an open fire (electric) toasting the room, a very welcoming spa bath and separate...

We recently had my daughter's wedding at the Macedon Ranges Hotel & Spa and cant say enough good things about this beautiful place. Firstly all our bookings done from months before the event to the day they wanted a room, our lovely host Jill was always helpful, efficient and friendly. We arrived and took up the first four rooms to...

We recently took 50 senior club members to the Macedon Ranges. We stayed at the Macedon Ranges Spa Resort as it was central for our needs and also catered extremely well with our large group. We have been organising these trips for twice a year for the last six years and in everyone's opinion, this was by far and large,...
