#3 of 3 Specialty lodging in Koroit
Immerse yourself in nature with a sprinkle of Irish charm… Located in the historic Irish township of Koroit you’ll be sure to experience Irish hospitality at its most charming. The Koroit-Tower Hill Caravan Park is only a five-minute walk to the Koroit town centre and is located at the beautiful and historic Botanic Gardens. The park is ideally placed right on the doorstep of the Tower Hill State Game Reserve, an inactive volcano where you can enjoy a picnic or walk around the crater to see its wildlife or to study its geology and rich indigenous cultural history. The emus tend to become very friendly when there is food around, so be sure to guard your sandwiches! With public transport to and from Warrnambool and Port Fairy, Koroit is nestled between rolling green pastures and is the ideal place to stay when experiencing all that the region has to offer.

Park site is very clean ,nice grass areas, boundary with trees require some maintenance through out, Clothes line , marking van site boundaries as caravans tend to use more than they should ,Keeping driveway clear of parked cars from park and near by business, drop point front of park is clean requires a hook for hose to be hung up,amenities block in the centre of the park needs doors of some description to keep rubbish , & weather out, and traffic control, speed and direction , and have the admin updated to accept credit cards etc not just cash only .

Park is ok. Park managers helpful. Yes toilets/showers are outdated but they work fine. Reasonable camp kitchen no door to the kitchen area which means rubbish and debris can easily blow in. Unfortunately still small amount rubbish in hard to reach places lying in there from the last couple of months. No microwave or freezer if you need these items. I have stayed here a few times over the last few months in a tent prices are cheap which is what makes it attractive. Not far out from Warrnambool or port fairy. Oh and cash only no eftpos.

Very basic camper park, just for a night stop it is more or less ok. Located next to koroit garden and some playgrounds. The toilets and showers are very dated. We visited off season. Would we return: No

Just 10 minutes away from Warrnambool is a hidden caravan park next to Koroit Botanical Garden. Just for AUD 27 a night for a powered site. Amenities are basic but sufficient to stay comfortably. All sites are on well kept lawn and the bathrooms are very clean. We have stayed in many Caravan parks around Australia and found the operators here to be the friendliest we have encountered. Highly recommend if you are just passing by and not want to be in an overcrowded park.
