We had a 2 bedroom apartment for just one couple. It was large and comfortable Great hot tub on the balcony Well appointed rooms with comfortable bed Could have done with a king sized bed instead of a queen
Dined at the Bazaar restaurant which has Asian food. Without doubt one of the best restaurants on the mountain in the 2021 ski season . We had 3 x starters, 3 x mains and dessert. Couldn’t fault any dish. New chef and amazing food! Brilliant! Well done.
This accommodation is overpriced and under delivers. Staff are pleasant and helpful. We want a room not a great big apartment. We also want to be warm. The central heating doesn't work. I certainly wouldn't want to be here in the middle of winter. We were swerved interesting nibbles but the meal was mediocre with no choice. We were part of a large group. Firstly - thankyou to the dedicated staff that were working like crazy trying to keep it all together, an impossible task & you did spectacularly. The room... the bed linen was "visibly soiled", the carpet on the floor was "visibly soiled" (DISGUSTING!!!), and also had water damage. The toilet was "visibly soiled" and clearly had not been cleaned since the previous guest. In the current health & hygiene situation this is simply appalling & clearly shows management dont care what so ever about guests health. Other guests in our group in other rooms had no ben linen, beds that were also "visibly soiled" and there was no staff to fix this, they were just given linen by the 1 person on staff at the front desk. The Spa turned on at 2am for about 5 minutes with the bubbles & woke me up - quite a few of them did this - unplug them if you're staying there. The controls on the spa were also not working - so unless you're happy with 25deg water - you're going to be unhappy. I didnt even try to get it fixed - there was 1 person on the desk who seemed to be the only person in the hotel. Breakfast was non-existent, i waited over an hour for a toasted sandwich which never came. There was 1 poor girl - she was supposed to be taking orders, doing coffees, cleaning tables, serving food, there was about 40 guests. Management should be ashamed a the way they've understaffed this. We had 2 people from our party jump on the coffee machine, and another two start doing tables & were able to get on top of it. Yes it took 5 people to do the work & they allocated 1. Never will I ever go near a QT property again in my life, they treat the guests & staff with contempt, when the hospitality industry is in crisis - they're taking your money & giving you less than nothing in return. Shameful. Avoid this place like the plague - literally & metaphorically.…
we had a large 3 bedroom upgrade with beautiful mountain and sunset views. staff very helpful to provide the 2 bedrm apt we wanted to enjoy our own rooms with own bathrooms ( who wants to share not me). the lift was fast and the trolleys can take all your luggage and bags of food in one trip from car to apt. fabulous 5 star apt that was fully appreciated with the upgrade to 3 bedroom and fabulous views. a wonderful and very convenient summer base for easy bushwalks behind falls creek and on the bogong high plains. carpets wildflowers. thankyou Kat, Tessa and also the efficient guy who answered all our queries on the tel prior to booking. drop off is at the door and parking in large carpark just opposite. we expect to be back Feb 2022.
