The location of this beautiful B & B was terrific, we could go out and walk back, it was very central. Our rooms were lovely and comfortable and very spacious, we had a lovely breakfast by the fire with a beautiful outlook to the garden which was in full bloom.

Firstly we arrived at 2 pm and there was no one to check us in, apparently the door was open, but I was unaware of this. Being a b&b and someone's home I wouldn't have just gone in had I found the door open. The rooms were beautifully furnished but I found it a shame that fake flowers were used... More

We had high expectations for the Gorge Walk B&B and in many ways our stay was fine. The owners were helpful and nice and our room was comfortable. The continental breakfasts were OK without being as nice as other places we stayed at during our trip. We were disappointed with the location, we thought it was closer to the main... More

The best place to stay in Beechworth. The owners are very friendly people. They gave me good tips for my trip. The rooms are furnished in different styles with a lot of creativity. The place is just 5 min from the towncentre.

Recent stay at this B&B at Beechworth. We stayed in the lilac room as wished a queen bed as opposed to 2 singles joined together. The room was reasonable bit cluttered, smaller than the others. Nothing really special, just felt like we were staying in someones spare room. The bed I found very uncomfortable, we were told not to use... More

A lovely property - rooms styled 'old world' each with a floral theme . We stayed 3 nights in the Rose Room . The room was spacious and King bed very comfy The owners attention to detail is obvious throughout. Hot breakfast provided in the rate charged was very generous. We liked the french doors and the gardens beyond. Location... More

We had a very pleasant stay at the Gorge Walk B & B. We were two couples, and took two rooms. Both were fine, and well equipped. The only downside of the rooms were a very small TV - not that we bothered to use it -, and the walls between rooms are not very soundproof. Our hosts were charming,... More

We chose Beechworth as an overnight stop between Melbourne and Canberra. My husband had picked up his brand new car in Melbourne earlier in the day and Gary very kindly let him park it in his garage overnight. We were very touched by this gesture which highlights Gary's willingness to go the extra mile for his guests as reported by... More

This is the third time we have returned to this beautifully presented cosy and warm bed and breakfast since I discovered it on a weekend away with my 80 year old Mum. It is one of the best bed and breakfasts I have ever visited. Gary is a wonderful host and is mindful of the needs of my elderly parents... More
