Shiela & John couldn't do enough for us, plenty of advice about Beechworth and the surrounding district. Comfortable accommodation in a turn of the century cottage. Very generous breakfast and afternoon tea. Would recommend.

Had a Fri/Sat night stay at Foxgloves and can very highly recommend it. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with suggestions of what to see and where to eat. We took up their suggestion of a meal at Press Room and a drive through the high country and lunch in Bright. The B&B is beautifully set up and very... More

A turn of the century (the previous one!) beauty with modern conveniences (bathroom and wifi). John and Sheila are perfect hosts and her breakfasts are to die for. Walking distance into town to explore this former gold rush area, and of course, to hear more about Ned Kelly!

We had a great stay at Foxgloves over the Easter weekend! Sheila and John were warm & hospitable hosts. We booked the upstairs room which had its own seating area. lt like we were home away from home... The location of the B&B was very convenient - near the main streets where we were given excellent recommendations for dinner. Our... More

John and Sheila are welcoming hosts who happily provide advice on the local and surrounding areas. The rooms are very clean and comfortable and Sheila provides many little personal touches to make your stay special. The breakfasts provided are second to none - they're just fantastic. Its central location makes it ideal as everything is within a pleasant walking distance.... More

Broke our journey back to Sydney with an overnight stay here. We were warmly greeted by our host Shirley, shown our room and given afternoon tea.We were the only guests which was lovely for us. Great place to stay. Good location. Comfortable room, good shower, fab breakfast - local produce. Sheila and her husband are v friendly and lovely. Within 30 mins of arriving, I discovered that I'd left my money belt on the train! Sheila helped me track down the number to call and offered to pick up my bag from the train station... More

I loved Foxgloves and our hosts Sheila and John. It's a congenial place with lovely rooms, a great patio area where you can have afternoon tea, and it provides delicious breakfasts. My friend and I visited just after Christmas and felt very at home. We didn't need to do anything, our every need was catered for and every question answered,... More

Grand old house serving a fantastic breakfast within a "stones throw" of the main street of Beechworth. Sheila was a fountain of information not only about Beechworth but the surrounding areas. We would certainly stay again - hopefully longer next time

We (3 couples) stayed here for 3 nights. The hosts are Sheila and John with Sheila being the one who spends most time with the guests. Sheila provides a wealth of information. We would tell her our general plans and she would give us hints and suggestions that all were really good for making the best of our time in... More
