After spending the last 20 odd years camping in the Barmah State Forest, we decided to try this caravan park this year. What a great find !! ( Even tho it's been there for years ) We stayed in the unpowered area, so had plenty of space to spread out, even tho it was Easter and fairly busy. We had... More

We had a weekend there to celebrate a mates 40th, a nice little spot on the Murray, friendly manager, great facilities and the Barmah Hotel a short walk away for tea, very enjoyable family weekend. Cabins look quite new and there are powered or non powered sites and a boat ramp so you can enjoy the water.

Second time we have stayed here. Camp is clean and tidy. Right on the river, close to the boat ramp and pub. New cabins are very good although showers could be better. Good amenities blocks, BBQ area. Staff helpful and knowledgable about the area.

Great sensible priced park. Large sites, Amenities clean, small bbq are and sink facilities for washing dishes. beautiful bush setting, birds plenty and vocal, pet friendly although I do not have animals, some let off leash a bit daunting when they run at you, but that's the owners responsibility. Owners/ managers very friendly.

i will be back - this spot is amazing! bird life galore, plenty to see and do. the caravan park is very basic but enough :) it had a real community feel with annuals helping out campers in the heat over the last few days (42+ deg) - just a good friendly vibe...the facilities are a little old but were... This is my second visit to the Barmah Caravan park and I have loved it both times. We are campers, and find their facilities great. It's a small caravan park along the Murray River. There is lots of camping space right on the river. There are two amenities blocks, with toilets and showers which are cleaned twice a day. On... More

I stayed for two nights in a clean, neat cabin. Staff were friendly and very helpful. Great location on the Murray River with a small sandy beach in Park for lovely swimming on a hot summers day. Great location for accessing the wonderful Barmah Forest. Recommend for familes, couples and singles. Pub has good simple, reasonably priced food. Bring your... More

female at reception was so rude and inflexible! thought we would do the honest thing and tell her we had extra people that would stay, payed the money, then due to emergency they couldnt come, she wouldnt give us the refund for 3 extras for the few nights! and also said there were complaints about "being noisy" which was not... We stayed for 3 nights over the Easter long weekend (tent in an unpowered site). Positives: Unpowered site was located immediately on the Murray River & dogs/pets are allowed. Negatives: the sites were unallocated - which made for a tight squeeze between other campers who tried to take up as much space as humanly possible. Also, with a caravan/camping park... More
