We could not have asked for a better place to get married. The food, the atmosphere, and accommodations were amazing. Bee Rock is spectacular setting for our big day. Not too far from Nashville and a very easy drive. Mike and Mirtha were great host. I look forward to going back.
We enjoyed our visit to the Garden Inn B&B. Our hostess,Mirtha, was very nice and fixed a delicious breakfast. The rooms were nice, clean, and very quiet. We also enjoyed the scenery and short walk to the overlook at Bee Rock. We hope to visit again soon.
The inn is hidden on a granite plateau and is beautifully decorated with a colonial touch. The hostess made our family feel welcomed and was genuinely concerned for us as we had an elderly member. They accommodated our needs.
We stayed 1 night at the this peaceful, beautiful B&B and enjoyed every minute. Mirtha, our host, was so gracious and sweet. We were on a sisters trip and the 3 of us chose the Garden Sampler room overlooking the Cumberland Plateau - awesome views! Very nice room with great linens and comfy beds. The Inn was so quiet we all had an excellent nights sleep. There is no refrigerator in the room but there is one available downstairs for those that need it. Breakfast was wonderful and we so enjoyed visiting with the other guests on their getaways as well. The back deck is perfect for evening drinks and morning coffee - a wonderful way to start the day! A must is the short walk to Bee Rock overlook for awe-inspiring views! We had dinner at Los Agaves in Monterey and it was excellent- probably the best Margarita we ever had! We would recommend the Garden Inn B&B for any traveler looking for a good experience.…
We had a great stay at the garden inn. We were there to tour nearby Sgt Alvin C York state park. The bed and breakfast was clean, comfortable, and had delicious breakfast each morning. The short walk over to Bee Overlook was beautiful too! We can not wait to return again! We stayed in the sunflower room and had great views!
This place just begs you to relax with its lovely accommodations and views. Mirtha (co-owner) was the hostess who made us feel welcome and tended to our check-in. She also prepared & served a great breakfast with coffee, juice, fruit, french toast, a miniature omelet, and more. The room we had looked out over the bluff seen in the photo showing rear of the lodge. We had a corner room which had one clear window facing that bluff, but the other window (side) had so much ivy growing on it, it was difficult seeing anything out it. And, the enclosed space downstairs (seen from the conference room) was almost like a huge terrarium with plants, rocks, etc, but no more water running through it. I suppose because the dryer weather and peak heat of the summer dried up the source. That said, it did not affect our visit and the hospitality we felt while staying there. …
This is a great location close to the freeway with spectacular views. The room was extremely comfortable and charming. The location is rural even with its location close to the freeway so we had to travel for dinner about 20 minutes. Breakfast was produced on site and was very good. The furniture in the room was elegant and in good condition. There was no in room thermostat control. WIFI on site provided expected connections. The common area which was also the dinning area was comfortable with room for several guests. We spent our morning before breakfast on the rear porch overlooking the valley.
We stayed here while visiting family. My husband's father had just been diagnosed with stage 4 cancer and chose to tell us when we arrived. It was the worst week of our lives and Mike and Mirtha made everything so much easier to deal with. He passed away 3 days after we got there. The rooms are amazing, the view is spectacular, the entire property was spotless, and breakfast was what we both looked forward to every morning. Mike and Mirtha made breakfast and had hot coffee ready for us, no matter how much earlier we needed to eat because of other obligations with family. They asked what we wanted for breakfast a couple of days as well. They even left a sympathy card on our bedside table the day he passed away. We had to leave and come back home for a few days, and then came back and stayed again for almost a week so we could attend the funeral. Mike helped my husband get an appointment for a haircut on July 5, because we couldn't find anywhere open. We are both hoping to return again really soon for a more enjoyable trip, but Mike and Mirtha couldn't have done anything more to make our time there any better, They were both amazing. Mirtha came to the service for his dad. What a wonderful gesture from a host. We never would've expected that. My husband wanted to bring her home with us. I highly recommend staying here. You won't be disappointed. They are so accommodating and very genuinely nice people.…
This is a lovely, comfortable place. Very clean. The hosts can be super helpful, or stay out of your way, whichever you prefer. Breakfast is good and they will modify if requested. Love this place! Will definitely return.
Absolutely one of the prettiest views I’ve ever had staying at a B&B! Mirtha and Mike, the owners, we gracious hosts and we so enjoyed visiting with them. Gorgeous grounds and many Wedding venues on their property. I would highly recommend The Garden Inn to anyone!
