Detailed Reviews
We stayed in Studio Apartment 11 for two nights mid June and found it spotlessly clean and well laid out. Upon our arrival our host, Sue, greeted us warmly and explained what facilities were available in light of coronavirus restrictions. She had turned on the heating to warm the apartment in advance of our arrival - such a welcome touch on a cold wintry day. The location is ideal, within a short walk of the coastal track, the Airey's Inlet Lighthouse and its nearby cafe and between the two sets of shops. Good value for a mid-week stay.

I stayed here for 3 nights for a solo getaway and chill out. Checkout was efficient and I thought when I arrived that I wouldn't have much privacy as the accommodations were all quite close together.
However, the place was well designed from the windows (you couldn't see in if you were outside), the planting (landscape design was clever) and positioning of outside entertaining areas.
A very big surprise for me was the beautiful big bath. With kitchen facilities and all the home comforts (including a gas fire), it was very cosy indeed.
I was able to walk every day along the coast and re-charge but knowing the Great Ocean Road, the venue was also a short drive to busier hubs like Lorne and Anglesea.
I got exactly what I needed from this trip.
If you're staying off season, make sure and bring supplies with you as not much is open during the week.

We stayed in Studio 11 recently. A lovely light and spacious room, well equipped kitchenette and a really large wrap around balcony. It is a stone's throw from the great Airey's Pub, plus an easy walk to the Lighthouse and Willow's Cafe, as well as the cliff walk. Inlet, Steppy and Sandy Gully beaches are also short walks away. Centrally located between the top shops and the river shops too. This is a wonderful place for a short or less short stay - beautifully maintained. This is our 4th visit.

Had a couple of nights here with one child and stayed in one of the Deluxe 2bed villas (7). It was sooo nice, good value and perfectly located with easy access to the cliff walks, lighthouse and the pub. Host Sue seems to give it the extra touch as the villa was immaculate and so well appointed. Quiet and really leafy surrounds too made the afternoon siestas a joy and the evening red by the fireplace topped off the vibe. Will definitely be back!

Very clean and well provisioned, this property is a great base for a longer stay and to explore the local area. From the studios, to the larger units, there are different configurations available, all with some type of kitchen and a reasonable bathroom and living area. The tennis court and pool on site are an added attraction and most enjoyable.

There was six of us ladies that thoroughly enjoyed a fabulous time. Nothing was too much trouble for Sue who I might add was outstanding. We were a group of tennis players and one lady left her runners behind, when Sue found out she had a pair that fitted perfectly. This resort is just beautiful, and we certainly made good use of the tennis court, bbq and swimming pool. Very close walking distance to restaurents and the Airey's Pub. We will definately be going back.

From the moment we arrived Sue, the manager, greeted us with a big smile and a warm welcome. The villas were clean and homely. Great little kitchen with full size fridge, bar fridge, oven, cooktop and all other neccesities. Big bathrooms with large spa. The pool was fabulous as we were blessed with great weather. Heated outdoor spa a bonus! Tennis court was well maintained and fun for all the family. Great cafes and restaurants close by all within walking distance. If your looking for a romantic getaway, a girls weekend or a relaxed family holiday book this resort. You won't be disappointed. A great asset to the great ocean rd. so close to the beach also. We will definitely be back! We are making this our annual family reunion destination. Thanks again Sue and the great team at getaway resort. Glad we found you!

Response from private0, Manager at Aireys Inlet Getaway
Responded Mar 4, 2014
Thankyou for your kind words. We all take a lot of pride here at the getaway and its pleasing to know that it has been noted. I walk around the grounds all of the time, hoping that guests will see me and ask questions or notify me of any issues. This allows everyone to have open communication and if problems arise they can be dealt with a.s.a.p. Glad to know that you`re coming back! Sue Setchell Manager

Sorry I cannot answer your question as we did not have a swim when we stayed there. I have looked again at their website but it also does not answer the question ( It does mention the heated outdoor spa though). I would think if it was heated then they would say so as it would be a positive.
I suggest you simply ring them and ask them what the answer is .
Cheers
