This is a really lovely little hotel in a good spot in the Woolahra District - it's a great area - quite upmarket and nice streets with residential properties around. We had a 'cosy' room for $140 inc breakfast which was pretty small but v comfy bed and bathroom and shower all fine. Service was a bit hit and miss... More

My partner & I stayed the night in a cosy room as we were going out for the night. It was exactly what it described. The bathroom is also quite 'cosy'. Breakfast the next morning was nice. The hot food wasn't hot when I got to it, but my partner was lucky to get the next lot of food when... More

We enjoy the quirky nature of the Hughenden and its history as a convent and then a hotel and now a boutique hotel. It is a pet friendly hotel too. There are lots of staircases and the rooms vary from one to the other including the size of the bathrooms although our recent stay in a queen room had plenty... More

Set in a beautiful area of Sydney this hotel is comfortable, close to great restaurants, has friendly welcoming staff. A fabulous place! The breakfast provided was fresh and wholesome with sufficient variety to satisfy all tastes.

I stayed in a "cosy" room here for a night on business. The room is accurately advertised - it's certainly tiny! Fine for one person to sleep in, but would be cramped for two. The plus side is that the aircon cooled the room very quickly despite the furnace-like weather outside. The room was clean and the bathroom was immaculate.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights. Booked 2 terrace rooms as they sounded good on the website. Both rooms were infested with mozzies and midges. Stained carpets, dirty walls, musty smells and cramped accommodation. Bizarrely coffee in the room was ground stuff with no equipment to make it. Bulb went in bedroom and was never replaced. Breakfast was cold and... More

Lovely hotel close to Hordern. Friendly staff, who were helpful and assisted with requests promptly. The breakfast was amazing, so much choice. Helpful suggestions for dinner are provided and the rooms were clean and neat. Noisy overhead but cant be helped.

We stayed here the night of 16th November. This small, boutique hotel could be really delightful but it's not. On arrival, I explained to the reception that my husband would be settling the account with his credit card so mine would not be used for payment. My credit card was presented for checkin, quite the usual procedure except that they... More

Good location just off Oxford Street in the trendy Sydney suburb of Woollahra. I booked a 'cosy room' at a very competitive rate in comparison to other Sydney properties. I was lucky to have a room with a full size window. Certainly the room was cosy as in really small. The same goes for the - well appointed - bathroom.... More

It was a good friends birthday and usually i would stay with her, but this is my first time booking a hotel around the corner, it was recommended by a couple of people. It was lovely, unfortunately my time was short and didn't get to experience much. But the room was enough for me. Small but cosy, its what I... More
