I stayed in one of the smaller rooms. The room was small but not cramped. Good decor, well appointed & well maintained. The included breakfast was excellent. Good selection of hot & cold food. On site parking. A short walk to Oxford street. Perfect location to explore the city & surrounding suburbs. Highly recommended.

We are repeat stayers at the Hughenden. It is a stately old building with a good feeling, not an impersonal chain hotel. The staff are welcoming, very helpful and friendly, the rooms are tight, but we only ever sleep there as Sydney has so much else to do. Last visit, the hot water system died, so we had cold showers, but... More

We stayed in this hotel as a stopover before hopping on a plane. We took our little dog with us, our room was pretty small but had everything we needed including access to a private yard so that our dog could go outside. It was our first time in a pet friendly hotel and I would definitely recommend it for... More

A delightfully Victorian building converted to boutique hotel with period look and feel through style, furnishings and artwork. Staff were helpful and breakfast was good. My room was quiet (out the back) and was just big enough for one - a couple may have found it cramped. Well located opposite Centennial Park within walking distance to Paddington.

My experience was truly amazing. The staff is friendly, are open and ready to assist you with everything you need, and the breakfast is really good! The space accept animals, has midnight snacks, lunch and parking available. During the night they serve wine near a fireplace with piano live music. Also, they have a exchange books station, that is amazing... More

This is a place that is in the best location. It has the Queen Street shops but metres away one way and Paddington shops a few more metres the other way. The hotel is a converted house and you can tell. This does not detract from the feel of the place as it is warm and the atmosphere encourages conversation... More

This is an old-fashioned "boutique" style hotel perfect for a short or weekend break. Very good buffet breakfast. Ideally located in the inner eastern suburb of Woollahra (defined by many art and antique retailers) not far from the Woollahra Hotel and suburban restaurants. It is also within a 10-15 minutes walk of the Moore Park sporting venues and about half-hour... More

This place is lovely, it's a boutique. Pet friendly & for those that don't like staying in a hotel that are pet friendly ask for a none pet friendly room. Customer service was great. Food delicious and the coffee. Only thing to be aware of is the slight noise pollution from the corridor, staff chatting outside your room, court yard... More
