Great hotel for the price, it was very clean and nothing was old or broken. Actually after I saw the room I was surprised it wasn't more expensive, very nice rooms. The staff was very nice and helpful, if in need of a hotel STAY HERE! It was a great stay!

Thank you so much, we appreciate your comments. All the money we've spent in the last couple of years is paying off now and customers are seeing the upgrades and improvements. We've still got to finish the lobby, some landscaping, and the fitness room to be complete. Hope to have these done over the winter. More

The hotel is in serious need of upgrading (or demolition), with many items in need of repair. Room was cold, drafty, and linens ready to be used as rags. The staff was barely concerned with anything. You are much better off continuing down the road to another hotel.

We stay at this property everytime we come through Monteagle Tenn. We have an excellent dinner at the Smokehouse Restaurant and a peaceful nights sleep in their wonderfully comfortable beds. We wake up rested and refreshed for the next leg of our road journey. We recommend both the hotel and restaurant to anyone who would love to dine and sleep... More

Jim's Smoke House Restaurant is a dinner NOT to be missed, OUTSTANDING !!! Traveling with a large group of Collegiate Athletes it was best described as crackel barrell on Steroids. If you are anywhere near make an effort to get there for the Friday buffet. Rooms were clean comfortable and very affordable.

My wife and I stayed one night in one of the cabins. When we checked in the temp was about 40 degrees outside and they had no heat in the cabins. We turned on the heater, built a fire and turned on the bathroom heater to try to get some warmth in the cabin. Not sure why they don't keep... More

We apologize for your poor experience you related in one of our cabins. Some of these buildings we have not visited to repair the doors and screens, we've been covered up with repairs and upgrades at the lodge and haven't spent the time we need on 3 or 4 cabins that need attention. The heat should have been left on... More

The cabin was a nice retreat for a weekend get away. It was cold and snowing outside (first snow of the year), so it was very nice to set in the warmth of the cabin that was coming from the wood burning fireplace.

What a fun surprise, rooms were clean, exterior 'lodge style', but more importantly the fabulous restaurant located next door, called the 'Smokehouse', wonderful southern cooking and fun trading post.

I stayed here with my parents, 13 year old and husband for 6 nights in cabin 426. We loved the cabin. It was larger than we expected and clean. Loved the charm of it, and looked to be recently redone. I do think think the price was a but steep. The grounds need alot of work, but I could see... More

We apologize for the problems you experienced with wireless internet. Our WiFi has been a problem in the past but most of those issues have been corrected and every cabin has a signal. There are 3 different networks we have set up for customers, due to the distance between cabins, and customers choose the strongest signal for use. We have... More

We ate next door at the Smokehouse which is always very good. Decided to stay overnight because it was rainy, foggy and dark. We didn't want to travel in these conditions. The rooms were pricey and we were shocked when we found out they offered "nothing" as far as ammenities. Also, the heating - air system's fan was VERY NOISY to... More

Aminities are standard and what are required by Best Western. If you are talking about Frige and Microwaves in rooms, we do not offer these in every room; by request only in certain rooms. We are always open to suggestions and improvements while customers are here to correct any problems our guest have; move you to another room, or whatever... More
