We arrived at the hotel at almost 11 pm so needless to say my kids and I were tired. The employee at the front desk was nice and the lobby was cozy. Our room however was a different story. Although it was a nice size, the decor was "tired" to say the least! In the bathroom it looked as though...

We stayed at the Smokehouse Lodge and couldn't have been less impressed. The first cabin smelled of mildew and half the power outlets were dead. They apologized about that and said a major storm had passed through the night before. The second room didn't smell of mildew but the lights in front didn't work, the light switch in the bathroom...

Smoke alarms had no batteries, fire extinguishers expired! Management offered us $25 off. Our family had to go to the local fire department to report them because they didn't care. Awful experience. Pots were dirty with scrambled egg residue on them.

Steve and Family, we apologize for the problems you found in cabin 442, we will happy to give you an adjustment on your bill for the lack of services and kitchen ware missing. As you know from staying with us for over 10 years, this is not up to our normal standards. We go thru housekeeping staff turnover, and some...

My son and daughter in law have an excellent and highly successful photography career. After a wedding shoot, we met at the Smoke House for a late dinner. To quote Anthony Bourdain: "Go where the locals go, eat where the locals eat!" That place is the Smoke House Inn & Restaurant. (If you don't believe me? Do a drive by...

We left on vacation a day early because storms were headed our way and we wanted to get ahead of them. The name of this hotel made it sound like something my husband would love. It is a bare bones place to stay but it was very clean, affordable and hospitable. We decided to dine in the restaurant adjacent to...

Like the lodge room uplift the Smoke House Lodge gave its self. Comfortable king size bed, clean restroom & quiet. Rooms in back a bit quieter & outdoor seating. Laundry & ice facility. Great customer service and very reasonably priced.

Great hotel. Me and my wife stayed here and enjoyed the location of the hotel. Very close to plenty of restaurants and within walking distance of some cool stores. Will definitely stay at this hotel again.

We took a ride over to Sewanee to watch a basketball game. We stopped at the Smoke House Restaurant for lunch. We had eaten there several years ago and enjoyed it. Boy, was I disappointed this time. The food was not good. The selections on the buffet were limited. I do not think we will go back there again.

Sorry we did not measure up to your expectations, we apologize for the inconvenience. We do have good food and service, maybe not on this particular occasion and visit. We have been here since 1960 and have a large strong customer base with repeat business customers who are very happy. We would appreciate you giving us another chance to show...
