We booked two rooms, one for daughter and children and one for my husband and I. Our room was very poor. No fly screens, dirty, no bins emptied, cockroaches and no service to the room on the four days and no air conditioning.
Super close to the beach and hotel receptionist really friendly giving great tips about where to park your car as there is parking rangers everywhere trying to book you. There is free parking but only 4 spaces available. The rooms are so tiny we booked...More
KNOCK-HOUSE!!! This was very “back-packer” style and not a hotel in any way shape or form. The walls where thin and dirty, dingy looking closets, noisy bed-rest, damaged heater, rubbish furniture, a FM/AM tuner that looked more like a radio signal transmitter from a speedboat...More
We thought waking up Christmas morning on Manly beach would be a thrill. We booked a family room for 2 nights and were disappointed. We had room number 5 and this did not look like any of the online photos.

I booked last minute and was welcomed at check in by a nice receptionist who was very helpful with local information. She then offered me a room with ocean views as a free upgrade, simply because it was available. The room was excellent value; clean...More
A 40-minute ferry ride from Circular Quay will take you to the famous northern beach of Manly. The beaches here are perfect for learning to surf or spending the day sun-tanning. The walk from Spit Bridge to Manly is a great way to experience Sydney Harbor Bay and the Australian bush land. Along the foreshore, there are plenty of watering holes and wine bars with excellent cuisine. There are plenty of kid-friendly restaurants
as well, especially along the family-oriented areas like Shelly Beach. An excellent way to experience Manly is to rent a bike and explore the dedicated bike paths and off road trails. The North Head National Park is another must-see. Located on the southern tip of Manly, North Head National Park offers great bushwalks and panoramic views of the city.
