Bed was comfortable, room was clean and well appointed for the price point. Hopefully next time I will have more time to take advantage of the facilities. The reception area was welcoming and I was warmly greeted on arrival. Check in was simple and fast.
We stayed here to celebrate our Wedding Anniversary. It was a very pleasant get away. We live local and just wanted to get away from the kids. It was a very large room and the bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean. The prices were also very reasonable. The staff were attentive and provided us with a free bottle of champagne when we mentioned it was our wedding anniversary. Slightly negative view was the room was a bit cold for the time of year and there was no heater. The air conditioning worked very well but it was set too cold. I did ask for more blankets for the bed and the staff were very quick to provide them! Otherwise if you are in the area I strongly recommend staying here. It's great value for money!
The balcony was dirty and unswept. Cigarette ash and butts were evident. The phone had been vandalised and was damaged. One of the bedside lights did not work. The food in the restaurant was way over-priced for the quality.
We arrived at 8.30pm and booked in with pleasant greeting Had one of the best room service meals ever. Nice quiet room and good nights rest Only problem no breakfast and recommended to Coffee Club across road for worst breakfast ever
Rydges Norwest's location just off Windsor Rd., was convenient for our needs, with plenty of parking in a well lit carpark. As times have changed due to COVID-19, the hotel appears to ensure adherence to safety of guests, with Angeline at check-in being pleasant and helpful. Our 2nd floor room was of a good size and included a balcony, with the room having a nice feel. The bed during our stay was thoroughly comfortable, along with excellent wifi and a good sized bathroom. We were suppled with information, that the rooms would be serviced only on the Monday of our 3 night stay, which was not an issue and we understood the reasons. We noted our room also had an additional blanket, stored in the cupboard and we were to find it a very useful item. I feel maintenance may have suffered during COVID-19 with simple things such as the safe would not work and remained that way during our stay, whilst our room was cold. The outside hallway may have been a reasonable temperature but our room remained cool. I discovered that by switching the heating off, (temp control changed from 23.5c through to 26c), our room remained between 17.9c and 18.2c. The solution was to switch the heating off and after a period of time the heat from the slightly old style wall mounted TV (when operating), warmed our room to about 20c, 'I kid you not'. Staff were informed of the cool room issue and I believe attempts were made to assist but a solution was not achieved during our stay. Our room was serviced on the Monday, though with no milk in the room, there was none left after the service and a visit to the front desk, did achieve some milk. As an Event shareholder, the heating issue detracted, from what otherwise would have been a pleasant stay.…
