I took my daughter and her friends on a Senior Trip to Miami. I stayed at this property back in 2020 and loved it. I booked it again and we had the BEST TIME!!! The hotel lobby is beautiful, the rooms were clean, with a good size mini fridge and microwave. The soaps/shampoos/conditioner were all very nice products, not cheap stuff! There is a grocery store within walking distance you can get water to put in your fridge. We also got cereal/milk/popcorn/mac n cheese microwave cups, etc. knowing all this would work with the appliances in our room. If you sign up for guestbook rewards and book using the rewards number you get a free room upgrade request based on availability. Lucky us, it was available and we got a full ocean view room with balcony! The views are outstanding! We went to the beach every day. The staff on the beach were very friendly, they give you 2 lounge chairs and an umbrella and more than happy to meet your needs! I did bring a small collapsible cooler with us in my suitcase. I would fill this everyday from the ice machine to keep our drinks cold while on the beach. I also brought our own snorkeling gear. The pier makes for great snorkeling around it. We seen large schools of fish and a sting ray! The pool is under construction but the noise was not bothersome on the beach. Plenty of restaurants within walking distance so you don't ever need to Uber as it is all right there. It's a very safe neighborhood that I felt comfortable walking around in. If your there during the summer months, every Wednesday at Gateway Park (walking distance) they have a bunch of food vendors set up and live music. It was fun! Definitely wake up for sunrise! It's an amazing site to see. After your done watching the sunrise, go seashell hunting. It's the best in the morning time before they break up the seaweed. We had a wonderful time! I myself work in the travel industry and have stayed at plenty of fancy hotels. For the price this place is great, no complaints! I would recommend to anyone going to Miami.…

My experience in this hotel was horrible, despite the renovation going around and no notification updated on the booking the room the given to us was very dirty and way outdated, we asked to change it and paid extra 50 $ , the room was decent still without chair to seat and no coffeemakers for the 4 start hotel, I am sorry but my time here was not pleasant at all, Please advertise the real rooms in your website to avoid customer confusions, we fid dissepiment finding the finding a different reality and asking more money for upgrades,,

If you’re considering staying at this hotel, DON’T. Absolutely the worst hotel room I’ve ever been in. The carpet is filthy, the walls are dirty and peeling. The ceiling is cracked and falling down. The tub is dirty, especially the jacuzzi jets, and the shower didn’t work, only the bath and it didn’t drain well at all. The room phone didn’t even have a dial tone until we jiggled the wires. I don’t know how this hotel has 3.5 stars, they shouldn’t even have 1. We called housekeeping to ask for clean bedding, blankets, and towels, but they never came so 2 people had to sleep on the pullout couch and use their jackets as blankets.

The pool is closed, and the poolside bar is gone. The entire pool area has been torn apart for construction. If you book a beach view room, you will be looking out over concrete and hearing jackhammers all day long. This doesn't mean they're going to refund any of your money or resort fee. They claim they have beach service now, but what this means is that one poor weeder struggles to serve everyone on the beach. You will either wait an hour and a half to get your order, or you have. Will have to get up, walk all the way around the construction site and through the hotel to get to the bar and get yourself food or drinks. There is nothing luxurious or convenient about this right now.

The Newport beachside hotel is located right at the beach. Even some of the area are a bit outdated its a good hotel. The current renovation of the pool was not a real disturbance having the ocean next to it.

This hotel has gone downhill within the last few years. When we checked in the whole lobby smelled like cigarettes. When you book definitely read the small print, there isn’t valet parking and you have to pay $25 to park across the street. The hotel is still under construction so if you’re planning on using the pool I would tell you to cancel your reservation. The room had a nice view and was big, but that was all. The sheets had stains, the shower drained slow, the furniture was broken. The hotel got 2 stars because of the restaurant, the food was pretty good it just has a small menu.

No correspondence from hotel staff is horrible. No Hospitallity. Over priced, not the cleanest. The lobby is clean but the halls and room were not the best. Over Priced bar and food. No included breakfast. Just not up to the price you pay.

The room was nice. They want to charge for everything, so read the small print. No tea or coffee in the room, not even a plastic cup. They want you to buy coffee in the concession Starbucks in the lobby.

This is our favourite hotel in North Miami! We have stayed there many times, and it never disappoints. From the moment you arrive, you are greeted very warmly. Julian the valet is ready to help with your car. The beach staff are at your service setting up the chairs and umbrella, and ask you where you want to sit. We ordered food and it was brought right to our lounge. Such luxury. The prices are reasonable, and the food was delicious. The admin staff, Susanne Hurowitz and her assistant Gretel, as well as Eddie, also welcomed us with open arms, and couldn’t do enough for us when we needed a meeting room. The General Manager was very helpful and friendly. Big thanks to everyone! We cannot wait to return to the Newport in the very near future.
