Great for walkers
Places to stay are graded on a 0-100 scale. The higher the grade, the easier it is for travelers to find restaurants and things to do within walking distance.
I loved this hotel. The location was perfect, off the main street but a very easy walk to all the restaurants and the beach. The staff was ultra accommodating, especially Rebecca. She made substitutions for my gluten allergy without any fuss.
My room was delightful right off the poolside - I would only suggest they replace the white towels which were very worn. It was quiet and comfortable with excellent water pressure in the shower and sink. They provided all the soaps and hair and body products. I brought in my own water because the filtered water in Mexico didn't taste right to me.
The breakfasts were great, filling, and innovative. A special treat. I highly recommend two particular restaurants - In Hotel Cielo Rojo, only serving dinner on Th-Sun I believe but it was one of the best meals in all of Mexico I had on my two week trip. They make their own tequila! And, Mau the owner of Su Pancho Madre makes a great variety of sopas, and gluten free morning pastries. Plus they sell their killer chile/peanut sauce which I brought back. More on them in another review.
Lastly, do yourself the kindness of patronizing ARA (the pink and white curtains) for an open air beach massage. Ask for Marianna.

Our favorite accommodation in San Pancho. We have stayed here five times and will return. The property is located a few blocks from the beach on a quiet side street. Built eight years ago, some of the staff have been here since the opening. The pool is heated. There are no TV's in the rooms, which we consider a plus. The breakfasts are delicious as prepared by Maria Chuy each morning. The front desk staff, including Patricia and Rebeca are helpful and accommodating.

We absolutely loved this place. It was like staying in a magical treehouse. The staff was fabulous. The breakfast were wonderful and we could not say enough good things about this property. If you are going to San Pancho, you must stay here. It is an experience that was absolutely precious.
There is lots of information in other peoples reviews about the restaurants, town and surrounding location.
I would not advise going to anywhere in this area at the time of year that we did. It was oppressively hot and humid and it was also the end of their summer season and a lot of that restaurants were closing down. It was kind of a ghost town.

This quaint, yet upscale hotel has only 9 rooms. They are centered around a small courtyard and pool.
San Pancho is a rustic little, beautiful town, but when yiu e ter Hotel Casa San Pancho, you feel transported somewhere else. It is a private oasis and is just gorgeous. There are jo TVs or Phones in the rooms, a surprise at first, but then we were glad for it.... just obligated relaxation. The full breakfast offerings, cooked from scratch, on site, were such a wonderful surprise. So delicious and started the days off with a smile! The staff is so professional and courteous! We loved this little oasis and will return on our next visit.

Really pretty boutique hotel with only 10 rooms. We loved the location of our room, we had a little outdoor space that was nice to sit out and our room was very clean and comfortable. Having breakfast included was amazing. It was made fresh and everyday we had a different meal served with fruit or yogurt. I wish I remembered the name of the sweet server/morning receptionist - she was so nice and friendly! Another great bonus is the free beach umbrella and blanket rental. We would definitely stay here again.

We stayed a this lovely, quiet hotel for 11 nights. Beautiful landscaping, refreshing pool, comfortable bed in a very clean room. We stayed in a lower room (Venado) by the pool but 2 upper rooms (Pesica & Gaviota) had better views. A delicious vegetarian, Mexican style breakfast was made fresh daily. The staff Quesay, Gejuan , Esteban & Rumi were wonderful. If you are use to North American amenities in your room be aware there is no T.V., coffee maker, small fridge or hairdryer. They do provide beach umbrellas and mats for the beach about 5 blocks away. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Our family stay at Hotel Casa San Pacho was outstanding! It’s a beautiful, Indonesian inspired boutique hotel with hand picked decor, lush gardens, a refreshing dipping pool, and the most spectacular homemade breakfasts. The staff is incredibly friendly, they attend quickly to any needs, and the rooms are very comfortable and exquisitely decorated. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit in this quaint little town, also just a short drive to the more energetic town of Sayulita. We would most definitely stay here again!

Our stay in Casa San Pancho was truly delightful! Our master suite was glorious! We could not believe the tranquil views from our terraces! The pool oasis was a perfect place to relax after our time at the beach! Every space in this lovely hotel exudes charm! We absolutely adored the delicious breakfasts! Each day was a new surprise! The magical ambience, exquisite breakfasts and lovely location would have been enough to make us marvel, but it was the kindness of the staff that stole our hearts. We feel so grateful to have spent time in this truly special place.

We spent 8 nights in the Master Suite and it was the perfect spot for our honeymoon! The room and bathroom were spacious, and the wraparound deck was lovely. The room, deck, and entire hotel were extremely clean. The room has air conditioning and lots of windows for plenty of natural light. The breakfast was delicious, with a different main dish every day. Although I read a lot of reviews that complained about a rooster, we did not have this experience. We could hear roosters that sounded far away, but they were not loud enough to disturb us at all. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay again!

Their beach is small but nice with a few restaurants & bars. Very quiet which is nice. The recycled workshop the other person mentioned is actually a center for children with many activities for them that also includes the recycling program.
There are several good restaurants (see my reviews) and nice shops.
Sayulita is a great little "surfing town" to visit and La Penita to the north of that has a huge flea market certain days of the week.

A taxi from PVR to the hotel costs about $800 pesos, if you take it from the airport it can be more expensive tho. If you're taking a bus from Guadalajara you should get it to La Peñita de Jaltemba and then from there a taxi to San Pancho. La Peñita is just 30 minutes away from San Pancho and the taxi costs $250 pesos.

Ours did not, but I don't think so. You might shoot them an email. They do have a fridge in the main room that you can keep a few things in. It's a fabulous little hotel, we're getting g ready to book again this spring!
There are more places to choose from in the San Francisco area.
