Set like a moonstone in the abundant palm forests which frame the idyllic village of San Pancho, the Inn at San Pancho offers abundant gardens, charming casitas, and a cascade pool. Embraced by the colors of Mexico, with jaunty peacock blue skies each morning, and the gaudy sprawl of sunset ushering in each star-filled night, this enchanting Inn with its spectacular vistas weaves days that unfold like magic, and spins memories that will cling forever.

The whole Inn at San Pancho, also known as the Home of the GataGorda, is absolutely gorgeous, with four charming casitas, and such a beautiful pool and grounds. We fell in love with Villa V as soon as we walked in - what a pleasant oasis! The four of us spent many enjoyable hours on Villa V’s verandah - having breakfast, reading, relaxing, checking the internet (great WIFI reception), visiting, watching all sorts of amazing birds, having a margarita or two, and oh my, those incredible sunsets! Villa V is traditionally decorated with beautiful paintings, pottery, photos, and folk art, along with an interesting library of books. Our hosts, Eileen and Tory, were welcoming and most accommodating, while all the staff were friendly and efficient. Daily visits from Beggar, the friendly cat, were the icing on the cake! We managed to tear ourselves away from this paradise a couple of times a day. In the late morning, we would walk along the main street to the incredible beach. Although this is approximately a 15 minute walk, we found it took us longer, as we enjoyed all the sights and sounds along the way. There are many shops, catering to both locals and tourists, selling everything from baking, meats, housewares and snacks, to beautiful artwork, pottery and clothing. After a long walk on the beach to watch the surfers challenge the waves, and the birds diving into the ocean for food, we would stop by one of the many restaurants for lunch. Then it was back to the Inn for some R & R by the fabulous pool. After enjoying the sunset, we would head back to town for dinner - San Pancho is a "foodie" heaven! Every day, we looked forward to doing a "Repeat". We were very fortunate to stay at the Inn at San Pancho, and hope to return again and again.

From the moment we first entered the property we knew this was a special place! Perfectly manicured lawns, bright flowers, hummingbirds buzzing around and one friendly, but not fat, cat. Than there are the innkeepers, the ever lovely Eileen made us feel instantly at home and checked us in. We met Tori later on, just as lovely. We stayed in the Chica, small, but everything you need for 2 people and we never got cramped or lacking in space. The pool was a welcome cool down in the afternoon! And we spent afternoons reading and taking swims. Each room has a great view of the ocean as they are pearched on a hill overlooking town. An easy 5-10 minute walk to the beach, but lots of places to eat even 2 minutes away. San Pancho itself is now our new favourite place to visit! Small and cozy, not too touristy, but just enough to get a variety of places to eat and nice shops. Even the shops seemed to have different products than in PV or Bucerías. Much more artisanal and hand made. I think we would definitely stay longer on our next visit and will probably rent one of the bigger accommodations next time. Chica is fine for a 5 day trip though. Thanks again for a wonderful trip!

My husband and I spent 10 wonderful days at Inn at SAN Pancho and could not have been happier. It is a very beautiful property overlooking the Pacific Ocean and lush jungle. We could walk everywhere.... the beach is just a 7 minute walk through a lovely, clean and friendly town. Our hostesses, Eileen and Tory struck the perfect balance of attentiveness to their guests and respect for privacy. They were delightful and totally approachable. So much fun, We stayed in the Chica casita and loved it! Very private, comfortable,,,,everything we needed. The salt water pool is gorgeous and we often had it all to ourselves. The Inn staff were on top of everything, keeping our casita clean and well appointed, and keeping the pool and grounds beautiful. All in all, we were so pleased we are seriously considering returning with family and friends in tow! (Only one cautionary note, there is a short section of the walk to the Inn that is fairly steep. If you have mobility issues you might consider renting a car, golf cart or use a taxi. Not insurmountable by any means, just worth noting.)

We stayed in Villa V for 12 nights. The villa was spotless, spacious and charming. We had wonderful views from the front bedroom and terrace. Pool area was large, picturesque, with good views all around. The saline water was nice for swimming. Our hosts were very helpful and friendly.

A little piece of paradise in San Pancho. Far enough from the main street that it's quiet, but a 5 min walk to everything and 10 to the beach. We LOVED our stay at la Casa Chica. Also, sun-exposed salted pool... Amazing.
