Sue and Alan were wonderful hosts and ecceeded in excellence in every department and we as a family always had a lovely welcome as "friends". To my horror last night whilst spending a wonderful New Years Eve party Sue told me it was their last night! As I understood, it is no fault of theirs that they have to go,... More

Nine of us had lunch at the Inn at the Elm Tree on 17 December. Everyone afterwards commented on how top class the meals were in taste, presentation and price. The staff were courteous and the service excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant.

I stayed at this venue on 10th December and I was very pleasantly surprised on arrival, the owners were very friendly and helpful and dinner in the evening was fantastic...the best Lamb I have had in a long time. The bedroom was comfortable and I slept very well. Overall a great place to stay and I highly recommend it.

We stayed here last Saturday evening on our way home from dropping our daughter at Swansea University. The location is beautiful and peaceful with lovely views and the building itself is quaint and appealing. We were greeted warmly and shown to our spacious room, which was everything we could have wanted, with an outstanding en suite, tea and coffee, TV... More

We went yesterday for a family birthday lunch. We received a lovely welcome and couldn't have felt more at home. The atmosphere is very relaxed and we loved that we weren't rushed or hurried. Above all that, the food was gorgeous, all eight of us thoroughly enjoyed our lunch and will definitely be going back soon. The lunch menu was... More

The hotel itself is clean, comfortable and very quiet. The Owners Sue and Al are the most hospitable of people and no effort is spared. The best treat of all is the food, which must rate as the best outside of a high end restaurant that i have tasted. We used this as a base for business in Newport, which... More
