Great meal eaten in pub garden. Staff helpful. Food good quality hand cut chips were home made and great. Would eat here again. Dog friendly. Need to check lawn for dog poo though as some owners do not pick up and when children arround it is not good!

We came here for the all day breakfast before setting off home after a lovely weekend in the area. First the service was great, not exactly warm and welcoming by any standard and it didn't improve throughout. When we ordered We asked to swap the black pudding for extra bacon and was told 'no you can't swap as everything costs... More

We stayed in a large barn nearby and 14 people in our party had Sunday roast here. The pub itself looks nothing special....but when you meet the staff (Rhys and a lovely girl who served us) and taste the food which is fantastic and the portions were large, you soon feel welcome. Thanks for your brilliant service and food....see you... More

Popped down for a beer and some food, staff so friendly good service nice food very reasonably priced, definitely recommended if your close by. Great recommendation on Gin for my wife....:) We stayed around the corner so struck lucky having a decent pub within walking distance.

Our first time at this totally awesome place the staff are so friendly and accommodating. The room was really comfortable and the meals are incredible. Another stay is on the books at this place again. We couldn't fault one single thing about the Penrhos Arms. You will not be disappointed if you make a booking. Very local for what we... More

Booked into this Hostelry online, arrived at 2130 after an 11 hour drive, & where greeted by very friendly staff. The room we had booked was a twin room for two males, Father & son, visiting Brother in Law for the weekend. Bed was most comfortable & a good nights sleep was had by both. Breakfast was superb, & they... More

We recently had 3 evening meals at the Penrhos Arms, and each one was very , very good. Attentive staff, and lovely hot, well prepared food. The broccoli and stilton soup was excellent , and my husband would gladly have taken a flask full home every evening.

We found that lovely place while enjoying a motorbike trip in the area. We were more than positively surprised by the modernized and comfy rooms. The dinner was excellent and some drinks in the nice bar completed a perfect day. Another highlight is for sure the very friendly staff which I believe is the owners family. Definitely a place I...
