This hotel was a delight from the moment we arrived. It has been recently refurbished to a high standard, and the impressive unique old central staircase meant a pleasant layout instead of the usual soleless long corridors. The breakfast was excellent with good choices. The dinner was a limited choice, but was prepared and presented very well. We were told...

We stayed here for two nights and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. The hotel is perfectly located in the heart of this small town and the room we had (23) was large enough to have a sofa and plenty of space, with a nice view out over the main street to the hills opposite. The staff were friendly and efficient, the...

We found this once grand hotel to be tired, in need of supervision. The hotel was run by inexperienced youngsters, who despite trying their best, clearly needed guidance to bring up the standards required for this hotel. We certainly would not have been happy to have paid full price, as other guests agreed. The Knighton could certainly be a fab...

Agreeably surprised by lovely room with a fabulous jacuzzi bath. Nothing was too much trouble for Luke and Megan who had only been there a matter of weeks and made us very welcome . Marvelous staircase and interior decor

We stayed at this hotel in mid-March for a weekend and I absolutely wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. The staff were helpful and really friendly. The room was really lovely and comfortable. We had a two-person spa bath. Such a nice surprise. The hotel itself is a gorgeous historic building. We met the owner briefly and he took the time...

We stayed for a couple of nights in March 2017 on a Travelzoo special deal and were very pleased with all aspects of our stay. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable, with a spacious ensuite and jacuzzi bath/shower. Our room was on the side on the hotel and although traffic noise was audible, we didn't find it intrusive, even...

Stayed here for a couple of nights over the Christmas / New Year period. Very relaxing, good food and good atmosphere. Had a lovely large room which was really comfy. Did this stay via Travelzoo and was excellent value for money. Would recommend.

Well - this hotel is a little bit of a let down for me - why? Lets start at the beginning - business trip so only a short stay over - but I wanted somewhere nice! First problem - finding the place wasn't easy - sat mav in the car took me some 25 miles out of the way (using...

We celebrated New Years Eve with relatives in Knighton and stayed at the Knighton Hotel. So often small village/town hotels in the UK do not come up to expectations but this is a great little hotel. The staff were very friendly and the food very good - including the excellent Sunday carvery which is very reasonably priced.
