Stopped here for Sunday Lunch Carvery. The food was excellent, beef second to none which melted in your mouth. This followed by a sweet was good value for money. The welcome was good from the landlord. We came with a well behaved dog who was also welcomed even though he layed right across everyones path. Would recommend this venue to... More

We went on holiday to Laugharne in Carmarthanshire, South Wales in September of this year. Although we stayed at a self catering barn conversion we did eat out at the Carpenters Arms on several occasions which was less than a 5 minute drive from where we stayed. On one evening we watched live football with Liverpool and Chelsea and had... More

My wife and I were staying at nearby Laugharne and having great difficulty finding a place to eat out ended up at the Carpenters Arms. This proved to be an inspired choice as the food was very well cooked, generous proportions and professionally served. Much humour was had on the first night as the landlord ended up doing the serving... More

On the outside its just another pub, on the inside its a warm cosy friendly pub/eatery. Great staff and great food. Make sure you go in hungry as their portions are very generous. Great friendly service. Highly recommended.

Stayed at their least expensive standard room. Room was tiny and little room for luggage storage however for the price met our expectations. Could not get WIFI . in our room (2). Room overlooks patio and while it was a cool cloudy night so pub goers were few we could still hear conversations, would have been pretty bad if it... More

Booked in for an overnight stay while visiting family in Pendine. The accommodation was spotlessly clean and the owners were friendly and welcoming. We also ate in the bar on the evening and ordered the homemade curry which was very nice so would recommend the food to others. Laugharne is only 5 minutes away and has a couple of tea... More

I stayed en route to the Pembroke ferry - for which The Carpenters is very convenient. This is essentially rooms over a pub, which is fairly prefab. Having said that, the essentials were all done well - comfy bed, shower hot, towels OK. Service was very good, and at £50 it was good value. I ate in the pub, and... More
