Enjoyed a one night stay at this b&b. Very friendly and welcoming couple. Our room was clean and had a tv, free wifi, parking, tea and coffee, wardrobe, bedside tables and lamps and an en suite shower. Great breakfast the next day with ample choice. They're changing next year to a vegetarian b&b and this makes no difference to us,...

New owners are a quiet unassuming couple who run a friendly casual guest house. Our ground floor room was extremely clean and my only niggle was that the 2 matresses of the single beds which made a huge double didn't meet well in the middle, leaving a slight ridge. Another unusual aspect of the guest house was that they invited...

Thank you very much, we are happy when people feel at home and it's so lovely to see guests in the sitting room and dinning room. We are trying to solve the problem of the "split bed" which is there to give people The choice of sleeping in twin beds. Room 8 also has a new net curtain so it...

Lovely, friendly, clean, warm and welcoming. Great B&B experience. Fantastic breakfast, served by attentive hosts. We travelled with our nine month old baby, who was welcomed with open arms. We felt very much at home and well looked after.

Thank you Bernadette, for you kind comments. We always welcome families, and enjoyed having you here! Thank you also for the great feedback you gave us on the vegan breakfast, we've now added more veg, such as grilled peppers or fried greens. We also do delicious vegan pancakes now, so do come back to try them! Best wishes, Neri

The present ownership and the new owners who were taking over the hotel last Monday were very friendly and welcoming. The new owners should try sleeping in the beds as the mattress sank and the pillows were hard. The breakfast was presented well and was what you would expect in an average cafe. we

We were greeted by Michael who was very friendly and welcoming. We were shown to our room which was a little disappointing as the decor was quite tired and the bed quite uncomfortable. The rest of the house was quite dated. Breakfast was excellent though. Wifi was freely available as were tea/coffee making facilities. With a spruce up this could...

On arrival, we had a lovely note from the owners welcoming us and letting us know where the keys to our room, and our room, were. Despite no one being at the desk when we arrived, you could see the care that goes into making guest feel welcome. The room was lovely and very clean, as were the bathrooms. Breakfast...

Stayed in the family room with husband and two children. Room was a fantastic size with private bathroom. Breakfast was lovely and even managed to cater for my extremely fussy 7 year old. Will definitely visit again as so close to many attractions.

We stayed there for one night in a beautiful clean room with a garden view. The breakfast was excellent (whole kipper in the morning!) and we had a great chat with the host Chris, who even called a taxi for us, because there were no buses. Thank you Chris and kind regards to Zulu!

The mattress was far to hard and very uncomfortable to sleep on shower had very low pressure. And the heating stays on very late into the night and gets far to hot in the room. Location was great close to loads of walks in the area and places to visit. Breakfast is excellent being freshly cook and of good Quality....

Thanks Richard for the feedback. Sorry that you found the bed uncomfortable. We have now replaced that mattress with a newer one. All our beds do have pocket-sprung mattresses for maximum comfort. During your stay the heating went off at 11.30pm but guests are more than welcome to switch off the room radiators at any time. Regards Chris
