Stayed here twice over one weekend in June the single room was of a reasonable size clean with a good size bathroom. From the moment I arrived I was made to feel welcome and the staff could not have been nicer or more helpful. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble for them even down to a very early cooked... More

We have come every year for at least the last ten years for a an evening meal at the Old Kings Arms during our holiday. We stay in Saundersfoot but look forward to an evening here as the food and service is usually superb. Not this year though. It seemed like a lot of corners were being cut. We had... More

Large, comfortable, quaint room (with a blanket and bedspread instead of the ubiquitous duvet). Bathroom was a little elderly but clean and spacious. Food was ok - had hoped for a bit more- but not complaining. Very nice Cabernet Franc on the wine list if you like that sort of thing. All in all, really enjoyed it and I'd stay... More

Just stayed the one night and were delighted with the rooms, food and hospitality. Owners were very accommodating and found a secure place to store our bikes over night. The rooms had recently been refurbished and were spacious, clean and airy. We had a lovely meal in the restaurant (a selection of tapas as a starter between four was a... More

Booked here for one night as part of my two day Wales motorcycle tour. Accommodation was adequate, although some parts of the hotel look a little tired. Food was fantastic in the restaurant, as was the service. Very happy with this. Prices of rooms is reasonable, as is the food. Has free parking, so always a bonus. Staff very friendly... More

A local stay in Pembroke resulted in us having to find alternative dining options as the hotel restaurant was closed due to a charity event. The lady working behind the bar recommended this place and the recommendation proved to be a worthy one. We had not booked prior to arrival and took a chance as a 'walk in' and the... More

Stayed two nights and ate in the hotel on both. Would have had fish and chips from across the road on the second night, but they had sold out. Popular pub, so got quite busy. Book early for an evening meal reservation. Our room, 22, faced over the rear car park, which we liked as it was quiet. Although quite... More

We eat here in May while we were on holiday in the area. We didn't book and on first appearances we could have just gone out again as the bar staff didn't seem too bothered if we stayed or not. However the waitress saved the day and made us welcome with menus and the daily specials. There was a good... More

The Old Kings Arms, Pembroke Room we got was on ground floor, no elevators but provide help getting bags up few steps. ✅ Spacious enough to "swing-two-cats" the guy at reception responded to question if room was spacious and it was. ✅ Free carpark behind hotel, but a long way round the block to get there. Entrance from the back... More

We stayed for 2 nights in May while visiting the castle and the surrounding area. The management went out their way to help us with a shipping problem we were having. It is a perfect location for visiting the castle (a block away) and you don't have to climb the hill! Our twin bed room was in the back and... More
