Visited for a wedding on the first weekend in June. The room we had just off the courtyard was stunning - huge bed, with a lovely terrace. Shower was brilliant. We stayed two nights and it included a meal on the Friday night too which was lovely. Everything on the day was

It was real pleasure to welcome you all for that most important of days here at the Estate. All the staff from the Wedding coordinators, Gardeners, Chefs, Front of house, Housekeeping and Maintenance always pull out all the stops on wedding weeks and work many hours so thank you for appreciating their efforts. I must the day was areal pleasure for us, everyone that came to the day were so friendly and engaging, the wedding couple looked stunning, the ceremony on the river facing lawn was so perfect and the bag pipes early morn for the wake up call for the all guests was a very nice touch in the spirit of the day. Thank you again for posting this review and again thank you all for such a splendid wedding day.

Thank you for your visit and your review. Yes of course I and the staff are a little bit bias, but we are so proud of all our rooms, especially our latest 'Top Notch' rooms that are really stunning, completely different from the standard type of room everywhere else in country establishments such as ours. We have most of our rooms on our website now (www.slebech.co.uk) so guests can get a good feel as to having a stay with us at the Estate. And as to the walks again how many places can you wander for hours in peace and serenity just with Mother nature as a companion? Thank you again for comments in regards to our restaurant and staff, we are all here to make all our guests stays as memorable as possible and I'am very please our efforts were appreciated.

Would highly recommend staying here. The setting for this hotel is beautiful and the rooms we had were lovely. We were given the Wall Room which, if I recall correctly, is part of the converted stable and still retains many of the original features. It was huge and beautifully

Thank you for your kind comments, A great review for all the staff from maintenance who have been busy this year redecorating, to the gardeners who tend our stunning surroundings and the operational staff that welcome you cook and serve during your visit. Indeed the Wall room was the first of our rooms that we designed ourselves a couple of years back so I am pleased it is still so well received. All are rooms are individually designed by us to complement the natural beauty outside which I hope makes a stay with us just that little bit more memorable. Thank you again for your stay with us and we look forward to welcoming you both back again to the Estate in the future.

Thank you for your visit to the estate. Looks like we ticked most of the boxes that make a visit to us just that little bit different from the norm.I am also pleased that our small efforts in regards to our environment are recognised. We always show our guests up to the their rooms, so we are always there, any of the team always ask and are quite happy in assisting guests in any way they can, from the gardeners, chefs maintenance or front of house, we are always there to help make our guests stay truly memorable. As to items that you have left behind, it is simply not true that we do not care or do not treat guests items with the respect that is due. We always check our guest rooms for any left items and as we informed you there was NO blouse left in your room and because you have mislaid it it is simply not acceptable to accuse us of theft as you did at the time. Truthfully if you lost you a piece of clothing during your overseas trip then I am afraid it is not us that have been careless.

Nice picturesque location. Hotel is comfortable and rooms are nice. Restaurant was excellent for both dinner and breakfast. Unfortunately our shower did not work in our room which was inconvenient for the two days. There was a bath with a pull out shower head but myself and my

A very positive review really about your stay apart from the shower, Of course we informed our guests about the issue with the shower, try as we might it is not something that could be fixed on the day, its a high quality model but unfortunately the parts needed had to be sourced from Italy. What is frustrating with this review is that you fail to mention your were shown and offered another room of the same standard with a walk in shower which you then refused and choose to stay 2 nights in the original room allocated knowing that the shower was not working. Things do break of which we have no control sometimes, but we are always honest when these issues occur. Its a shame the score is a bit harsh on the team when you enjoyed your stay so much, Thank you for your stay.
