Came for dinner last night for my husband's birthday. We've not been in years and I'm sure the food has got even better. Tried one of the special drinks of the night, vodka, lime and ginger ale, gorgeous. The staff are fantastic, friendly, attentive and knowledgable. The flavours of the food were just so good, it such a treat. I...

A large building with converted outbuildings having a varied and long history is surrounded by wonderful views and wildlife in and around the waterways. The entrance to the hotel is a fair way through the estate and woods before arriving at the parking area. After parking there is a short walk to reception and also the rooms. Service is very...

This is a fabulous location, on the shore of the Easten Clefdau. The outlook across the river is the most peaceful and beautiful that you are ever likely to find, and is the most lasting impression that we carry away. Niggles such as no Malbec, overdone Welsh lamb, restricted menu, melt away, looking at the river, from the restaurant. These...

This is a stunning venue. The staff are lovely and the rooms very comfortable. Continental breakfast is exceptional and the standard of food served is good. Our weekend went very quickly and we wished we could have stayed longer.

Stayed for my boyfriends birthday weekend. Just amazing, from the views to the food. Well recommended and worth the 4 hour drive! Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Room was spacious with a view of the courtyard and surroundings. Definitely worth a second visit next year!

This hotel sits in the most amazing setting - a huge park with ancient woodlands, the tidal estuary coming up to the hotel, lots of lovely walks. Worth going to see the terraces where the vegetable and fruit gardens are being refurbished. The staff were charming, particularly the young chef who spoke with great enthusiasm about using produce from the...

Beautiful setting, friendly staff, gorgeous rooms and amazing food. The peace and beauty around the hotel is sure to revive flagging spirits. The staff can't do enough for you. The rooms are luxiorious, I have stayed here several times and sampled several rooms, which are all individual. Now to the food, it is a little expensive but absolutely delicious, fine...

Didn't use any facilities, just went for dinner (7pm) and was totally amazed. The views from the restaurant looking onto the river with its wildlife was stunning as the sun was setting. The only down side is there are a lot of steps to access the restaurant which for my disabled husband was not easy.

Spent 2 nights here and as soon as we turned into the beautiful mile long drive we felt relaxed. All the staff without exception were excellent- all had a smile and a very pleasant manner which is sadly lacking in many hotels today. The setting is quite simply stunning. Highly recommend having a wander in the grounds- came across the...
