Just had two lovely nights in the garden room. Nesta is a wonderful host, making you feel so welcome. We really enjoyed staying on this 250 acre working farm. The room was lovely and had a lovely peaceful sleep followed by a great breakfast. The farm is located so conveniently to get to be able to visit so many places... More

We stayed a long weekend at this wonderful B&B. We will be going back. The welcome was wonderful. Nothing is too much trouble and it is so clean and cosy. The breakfast was the best one I have had at a B&B. I am a vegetarian and there were home cooked Glamorgan sausages and home made marmalade to die for!... More

Stayed in one of the cottages, Nesta discovered an issue with the boiler prior to our arrival so was moved into the smaller of 2 - not an issue as more important to have hot water. We booked late for a 2 night stay to visit family in the area & were referred to Lower Haythog by another B&B. The... More

I have had the privilege of staying at Lower haythog for nigh on twenty years and all that time Bill and Nesta's standards have never dropped. If you are looking for comfortable beds ,well appointed rooms with high quality furnishings ,spotless bathrooms with all "mod cons",a quiet nights sleep only "disturbed" by the odd moo of a cow or hoot... This working farm is set in beautiful countryside close to so many places to visit and dine in the beauty of Pembrokeshire. The accomodation is very comfortable, and the couple running it are very helpful and friendly. Nesta's breakfasts are always something special to wake up for in the mornings. Her garden is also a thing of beauty, and a... More

From the minute we arrived at Lower Haythog Farm, we could not have been made more welcome. Our room was superb, warm and inviting. We sampled evening dinner on the second night of our stay (having arrived late the first evening) and we could not have been fed better, had we stayed in a top class hotel. The food is... More

Run by Nesta and Bill Thomas from their farm house on their 250 acre dairy farm that featured in Rick Stein's "Food Heroes" programme. Warm, comfortable room with all en suite amenities plus separate lounge and dining room for guests. Amazing breakfasts + fabulous evening meals cooked by Nesta with all local produce, much of which was organic. Lower Haythog... More
