I ordered the monteray jack ,black eyed bean burger, but got the worst excuse for a frozen veggie burger I have ever seen, nothing on the plate resembled anything described by the menu. it took 20minutes for it to be served, I asked for my money back and left.

We just wanted something cheap and cheerful for 1 night. The place was easy to find, parking very easy. The bar was a bit tired, and the room a little old fashioned, but perfectly clean and comfortable. Comfy bed, fluffy towels, and loads of hot water. The menu for evening meal was extensive, and the food was inexpensive and not...

Wife and I stopped over Saturday night having attended a daytime function in town. Parked up mid morning and went to announce arrival through a side door to bar. The duty manager greeted us warmly and offered to check us in early which was great for us. We had booked at £60 b&b but she said they had an offer...

Overnight stay, arrived late so no staff available. Key left for us to let ourselves in. Seeing cracks in the walls was not impressive. Rooms basic, don't think the carpets have seen a vacuum in a fair while and the curtain were falling off the rail, but the bed was reasonably comfy, running hot water and the electric shower worked,...

Mostly friendly staff, although the breakfast waitress seemed unwilling to crack a smile or talk. The place is very run down - see photos, very grubby, dusty, sticky and just yukky. The Ladies toilet I found easily enough as it had Ladies written on it in marker pen. The new tiling was lovely, shame about the peeling back flooring in...

If i could give a minus score i would.. don't think the place has been cleaned since the 70s. i took a photo of the net curtain on the stairway, it was black with dirt. so obviously window had never been cleaned. cracks in...

Room was basic but nice, and clean, decor a little dated and only an electric shower, but did the job!! Breakfast was billed as full welsh but nothing Welsh about it unless you class deep fried mushrooms as Welsh!! Bed comfortable
