Can't recommend this place enough . Lovely friendly owners who can't do enough for you , great clean, comfy accommodation and one of the nicest breakfasts I've eaten . Me and my work partner Ant Have stayed here on 3 occasions now when our work had taken us to Tywyn and we would not stay anywhere else. Excellent value for... More

Jane and Lawrence have thought of absolutely everything to make sure that your stay is extremely comfortable. Touches like fresh milk in a fridge, delicious soft drinks, and fudge as well as the usual tea, coffee and so on. Such a treat to have a bathrobe too. The breakfast has something for everyone, I was delighted to find a wide... More

I booked a single night in order to join some friends for a private charter trip on the Tallyllyn Railway. Jane and Lawrence were very welcoming and the place is everything the other reviewers have said. The room was spotless, beautifully presented and the bed was comfortable. The en-suite shower was, as some others have said, as if it had... More

April 29th to May 3rd. Upon on arrival to the Guest House I was well received by both Jane and Lawrence and treated very well by them both. Breakfast was hearty and with a good choice of options each morning, The Marconi room had a cosy feel without it feeling too small. It was clean and tidy with a friendly... More

I stayed here in early August in the single room. Next time I go I will opt for one of the en-suite rooms, but for just a few nights it did not matter that I had to walk a short distance to get to my bathroom! The placing of the Guest house is right by the railway station, but also... More

Visited Preswylfa Guest House on Friday 4th September till the Sunday for a family wedding. As we arrived we were greeted by Jane and Lawrence who couldn't of been more welcoming and friendly. The rooms were spotless and spacious, with the attention to detail and the little gestures in the room such as water, tea and coffee, biscuits and having... More

It is the first time we have stayed at Preswylfa, always having camped when we visited Tywyn previously - although I think the tent will now be going on the bonfire! Jane and Lawrence were charming and very welcoming, the room was fantastic with beautiful views out over the fields to Broad Water and Tonfannau. The room was en-suite with... More

It's a good sign when you meet people for the first time and instantly feel like you've known them for years; that's how I felt when I received a warm welcome from Jane & Lawrence at the Preswylfa Guest House. I was staying in the single room which was a reasonable size for all my camera kit and travel bags.... More
