Excellent hotel good price and rooms are very good. Have used several times. Staff are very help full and to top it all the bar is a Wetherspoon excellent value for money both food is good and the drink is very reasonable ideal when you work away from home through the week. Would stay with the family any time.

Despite being a Wetherspoons pub (there go my prejudices!) this is a great place to stay. Nicely refurbished character room, friendly staff, lovely dining room with a real fire, and more informal dining area at the rear with a great outside area for the summer. Highly recommended.

This is the place that I choose to stay in when in Ruthin as it is in the centre of this little town, surrounded by a quaint market and a delightful coffee shop around the corner. Also close to all the restaurants and little shops selling Welsh goods. Also, should you be a motor sport enthusiast and you remember the...

Spotlessly clean room, lovely big deep bath with plenty of hot water and towels. A couple of lights didn't work but no biggie. Breakfast lovely but evening meal poor. Staff all pleasant, would recommend and would return.

stayed for one night and was more than impressed. Must say a big thanks to Andrea on reception who changed our room for us on arrival, rooms on 3rd floor are in the attic and have low beams, not suitable for my 6ft 4 partner but Andrea quickly allocated us a room overlooking the square on 2nd floor which we...

We had a Family room that was very clean, spacious and comfortable, especially the third bed being in a separate room. The room was very warm, my only small moan that the room only had a very small table that was taken up with all items tea/coffee, kettle, hair drier all Hotel literature. I could have been bigger and you...

Excellent location right in the middle of town with good secure over night car parking. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, good hearty breakfast all at very reasonable prices. We have stayed in hotels that were considerably more expensive and not half as good. Would recommend to anyone.

This hotel is probably the best value for money in the whole of North Wales! Not that I have stayed in all the hotels in North Wales! The lovely old Castle Inn refurbished in 2012 has a feeling of the town with its lovely old prints and photographs recording the history of this lovely welsh town. The public areas and...
