Lovely place to eat and a warm and welcoming local bar. We do like the food here. Good homefayre. Friendly staff and generally attentive. We all recommend this place and I must confess to liking the fine ales.

My father, son and I visited for lunch. We all ate very different things and each was excellent. The menu had many more choices, including some local fish and shellfish: we will definitely be visiting again to try a few of them. The Grumpy Frog Cider was especially welcome on this very hot day. An very good tasty thirst quencher....

Lovely bedroom to lay head for the night. Not too far from Anglesey car racing circuit where working for the weekend. Finished work at 11pm and keys had been left out for me. Bedroom looked like it had recently been redecorated with tasteful finishing touches and looked lovely. Bedroom and bathroom clean. Cooked breakfast was delicious and set me up...

Great pub this - always a load of locals in and the crisps are dead cheap. Cracking barmaids who are up for a bit of banter. Bogs are a bit rough yeah, but what do you expect for a pub that's full of mostly men? Cheers lads - see ya Friday aye

Literally fetching my beer to the room. Yes I'm in an idle mood but the care and attention for me impressed me so much...

We had a lovely corner room in the annex with views over the inland sea. The room was very comfortable and spotless. The breakfasts were too big for our appetites and the quality of the ingredients was excellent. Each day we stayed we tried to reduce what was on our plates! The staff in the hotel, restaurant and pub were...

I have been to the Anchorage with friends several times, and today was no exception regards the food, it was excellent, we mostly have the open prawn sandwich which is the best on Anglesey, today we tried the closed prawn sandwich which was very good, mixed salad included. Orders are placed at bar and brought to ones table, service is...
